I have this one. Very playable! My action is low, I love the smaller size. They no longer have the smooth case, but the gig bag is nice and fits well, there is a pocket outside. Thinner than my Ovation, but somehow sounds deeper! Got this to travel with and use at rehearsal during winter months, but may become my only go-to.
Was looking for reviews on the Enya Nova Go and came across yours. Gotta say I've enjoyed watching your review the most. Really like the way you play and enjoyed how you demoed the effects for us. Thanks! I will check out some of your other videos.
Awesome review 👍🏻 I came across this a few days ago. I'm always uncomfortable playing guitars with big bodies and thick necks due to my small body proportion/height. As soon as I saw it I was mesmerized. Definitely my next purchase 🤟🏻
This was definitely the best demo of the SP1 I've heard, beautiful and detailed, and helped inspire me to get mine - dropped by again to let you know and subscribe, thank you!
Dont have one yet. Been checking out several reviews, This instrument is really all I need for my own home and as part of my up coming RUclips motivational speaking episodes. All I really know is looking forward to having one
Great post! I’ve watched many on the Enya and this is the best one hands down. I recently purchased the electric model in white and the non electric in black and waiting for my white soprano Ukulele on its way!! Great product and I highly recommend if you want to learn guitar or a welcome addition to your collection. Thanks again for a great post!! Cheers from sunny Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺 😊
Hi Leon. I’m really enjoying the Enya pro guitars and ukulele. Really interesting and so inspirational with effects etc. I notice that you need to keep the charge up to get the most from affects. Also the App is the go for experimenting but can get confusing and I’m still learning here! All in all, fascinating to play and I have to stop and play my other “babies” having recently bought a Mini Maton Diesel with AP5 pickup system which is amazing … an electric guitar disguised as an acoustic 🤔😂 cheers mate 🎉
Great and complete review. I've seen others on YT that led their subscribers to believe that the guitar had to be plugged into an amp to get the FX and never once mentioned the fact that the guitar was an amplified Bluetooth speaker as well. You are also the first I've seen that pointed out that volume could be changed ON THE GUITAR, as well as how the FX could be combined and tailored with the app. All others gave the impression that you must use the app for volume control and mixing wasn't even addressed, if they mentioned the app at all! I've seen one other review that was very comprehensive, but was aimed more towards the ability of newbies to play the instrument. He concentrated on fret polish, height and uniformity, neck shape, along with action height and how those things would effect a new or intermediate player. He concluded that the guitar was much better than most, in the price range. Those are things that you didn't address, but I would like to hear your view on, since I'm a long time, on again off again, generally frustrated player of inexpensive acoustic guitars. Worth a shot or not?
I appreciate that. The action/setup on mine is low and pretty clean and I'd agree with the assessment that it's impressive at the price point. The body size may be a bit weird if you're more used to a full size acoustic.
@@LeonTodd Due to a shoulder injury at work, about 13 years ago, it's painful for me to reach over an acoustic (only kind I've ever played) that has a normal thick body. I finger pick because the strumming motion makes it even more painful. This one looks to be about half the thickness of any of my other guitars so that is part of my attraction to it. I also have smallish and older hands that might benefit from the reduced scale. In other words, the size may be just what I'm looking for, if it is playable in all the other important ways. Some have noted that the head stock seems heavy and wants to tip the guitar neck down because the body is light. Did you view that as a particularly hard issue to overcome? Thanks for getting back to me with an answer to my earlier question. Knowledge rules!
Nice! I pulled the trigger on the white one without the blutooth stuff. I went to Maui back in Nov 22 for a week and was dying to play some guitar but mine are too much of a hassle to bring on the plane. So I got this one for my next Maui adventure in sept. Thanks for the review my dude!
Enjoyed the review mate, clear & to the point, something I was looking for as someone who wants to learn to play, a grab and go guitar would suit me better. You've obviously got skills & enjoyed your playing .. Stay safe & happy buddy 👍
Oh wow.. Couldn't click fast enough. Especially since I saw carbon fiber. What a cool cool guitar.. I love it man! I wish someone would make an electric like that.. Since I'm dreaming I want it to be Gibson or PRS single cut looking with the same scale length, and have a humbucker in the bridge and single coil in the neck.!🤣 Really though, that thing rocks.. I love it.. Would be a great guitar to drag everywhere in case you wanted to jam with some others or just take to the lake and enjoy the summer or sprig weather and play outside, etc.. I can think of a million ways to enjoy that and not worry about it since it's carbon fiber vs a wood guitar which would or could warp and scratch and dent, etc.. I love tech! Very cool sir.. Sorry to be so verbal today! 😛 Hope all is well brother. Be safe and tell your family I said hello from the states sir!
Wow this seems perfect for a tiny hobbit like myself, I've always avoided acoustics because of the girth of the guitars body (very uncomfortable) I like how it looks like a little Les Paul 👍 awesome playing again brother 🤘
Funny you should ask… actually there is something similar to it, thought it is not Carbon Fibre. I’ll put it in on Discord server (for anyone that is reading this, it is 1000% worth joining)
Looking forward to receiving mine just acoustic $368 from swamp oz just what I want I hope great Vidio also nicely spoken sounds awesome and awesome effects
It's no LL56, but a cool little guitar you can take with you into the woods and climb up the side of a waterfall and play to your hearts content with no worries.
@@LeonTodd It's something I've tried to do as much as possible over the years and wish I did more. There some nice one's in the mountains of my state. But there are tons of serene spots a person can find in nature if they explore a bit.
I've seen 30 reviews of this. Nobody tests the instrument for intonation but 2 or 3 have had to file down frets or lower the bridge for tuning accuracy. what a nightmare. They say it produces good volume but I don't hear the upper E and B strings like a normal acoustic. I might chance it with nickel plate strings but I wish somebody else did first. My mini ebony guitars are great but I am hung up on perfecting INTONATION -I don't think that's asking too much.
It is a $200 beater. Seems like you have very high expectations for this price range. My Taylor Mini Koa needed similar work and it was $1000. Good luck finding a weather resistant guitar for this price that meets your requirements.
Most Guitars need customization to satisfy different players. I flattered my neck a bit and brought the saddle down to get the action I like and it plays excellent. The intonation is a slight bit sharp but the Guitar comes stock with a non compensated saddle. I’ll eventually change that but for now I’m just enjoying it.
I got this one and i changed the D'addario's strings it came with for Elixir lights and it sound better. Sound acoustically is fantastic.

I was pleasantly surprised at the pure acoustic tone given the carbon body, odd configuration and size. Usable for certain.

Got one of the un-mic-ed versions about a year ago. I can't afford expensive guitars. I love it. And it's so easy to play.
The best review I have seen on this guitar - thorough without waffle. Thanks.
Much appreciated!

Yeah a solidbody would be rad!!!
I just got mine a few hours ago. With a bit of technique, this rig sounds good. I also have a Rainsong so I'm a bit spoiled
How’s life?, broth-Love it~ insane recording !goodbye!!
Wow, the overdrive on this has sounded great on other videos, I wonder why yours had so much trouble

Yeah this is a smooth little player
Ngl you kinda convince me to buy one, but that means I have two choices to choose from. Otherwise, what a stooky guitar video (as always) Leon
I wonder of nylon strings would work on it?
Funny you should ask… actually there is something similar to it, thought it is not Carbon Fibre. I’ll put it in on Discord server (for anyone that is reading this, it is 1000% worth joining)
oh if you mean changing the acoustic string, and putting nylon on that guitar. I wouldn't see why not?

Oh wow! I didn’t even know Enya Played The Guitar😂
As used on the worldwide smash Orinoco Flow
@@LeonTodd 😂😂😂😂😂
Pure Moods!
Does sound quite awesome. I’d be keen to give one of these a try
Give it a rip next time you're up
@@LeonTodd You betcha. Let me know when you’re keen
Good review. I just bought one.
Hope you enjoy it!
Great review! I would be cusious to hear overdrive and distortion even if you think that it's not a good way to have it on a guitar. :)
Looks good! May I ask your opinion if I can restring it for a lefty? Thanks
Sounds pretty good and the price is reasonable. I would be keen to try one. Thanks!
You bet!
Where did you obtain one with the electronic system?

Good option to leave out by the pool
Dead batteries
Have got me
In the past
(have I heard that before?)
How much it's the price of it in the USA...??? Greets from Brazil...!!!
Is the bridge too High and difficult to play in this model??? Please let me know. Thanks.
What’s the song at 8:10 😮sounds familiar
Sounds vaguely Whitesnake inspired
I downloaded the app and I see everything but no sound mixer to "create" with..I must be missing something
Is this nova go or nova go sp1
Shipping from Amazon went up from $80 to $110!
Keep an eye on Amazon. Sometimes those ship from their warehouse for free. The $110 shipping fee is when it’s shipped straight from China.
@@ricknorris1466 Does this apply for the model with the electronics in the guitar as well?
my app doesn't have half of the settings that yours has
Looks better than the Lava
way better!
The neck of the guitar what is the width?

I found the action too high on mine ?
where in Perth can we buy this bud?
Looks like an Amazon only thing
The straight acoustic version is easy to find but not the version with electronics. Does anyone know where this is available?
frustrating isn’t it (I found a pink one) but it’s PINK!
I just bought one from Amazon took two weeks to get here
I think it will be greater if they put IR in haha
This works with Android?
can you refret that guitar??
I see no reason why not.
Tried one. It's the size of a cereal box, but not as loud.
