    Just small clarifications, it is not full carbon fiber, it is a composite with plastic. The company behind this guitar is US based I believe, but it is manufactured in China.
    I have this guitar and I really like it so far, it suits me well as I am a beginner.

    • @MarkLangdahl
      @MarkLangdahl Год назад +1

      All carbon fiber is a composite with plastic. Like fiberglass carbon fiber is threads of carbon in a polymer (plastic) with the fibers providing stiffness to the polymer material. Without the polymer you basically would have carbon wool.

    • @blandeauxfillaskii7344
      @blandeauxfillaskii7344 Год назад +2

      @@MarkLangdahl He's talking about thermoplastic material vs an epoxy resin. Most people would associatiate "carbon fiber" with epoxy, not plastic. Not all carbon fiber is a composite with plastic. There is a big difference between the two. Making a guitar with traditional carbon fiber techniques would be more expensive, but not necessarily better.

    • @KW-gv4qp
      @KW-gv4qp 8 месяцев назад +1

      Totally Chinese company in Guangdong province. American’s can not make it and would be expensive.

      @@MarkLangdahl No, you`re wrong!! Ever seen a real cross carbon plaid, like used in automobil industry or arrowshafts for example ?
      There is no plastic in it at all. It`s 100% carbon fiber webbed together and a few epoxy over it, that it keeps the wanted shape (one or several layers of carbon plaids). Not a lot plastic like in this guitar!
      Taken precisely, it`s misleading advertisement.

    Hi, first of all, thank you for the well made video! I watched until the end! I bought the Nova Go guitar from Enya some days ago, but acoustic-electric. It's my first guitar and I was wondering , when you say the action is a bit high, do you mean that the strings are too high from the frets ? Because I feel like that my strings are a little too high . Maybe it's because I'm a beginner and my fingers are not use to it so I need to press harder because the strings press deep in my skin ? Anyway I don't have the tools and experience to modify my guitar like you. Do you think I should go to a luthier ? Do you think it's important to check it and if the action is actually high , repair it asap ? Thank you in advance for the anwers :D

      The easier your guitar plays the easier it is to learn! Find a local guitar shop and ask for a setup. They will be able to tell you if the action is acceptable or make it lower if it isn't. The price will be well worth it

    I have it in silver glitter. But even better is the pure glass-like finish. This guitar is indestructible. They bashed so badly in shipping the electronics were killed inside. So, with great effort I pulled them out thru the tiny hole. I keep it by the window exposed to hot/cold humidity- it rarely needs tuning. I did pay 3 times the price but it's the most beautiful and indestructible guitar I ever had. Also tunes perfectly.

    It’s a very good deal, but it’s definitely not fully carbon fiber. It’s a carbon fiber composite, so some carbon fiber mixed with maybe resin and polymer. Enya makes a carbon fiber acoustic that’s like $600-700 USD. The fact remains that it is impervious to temperature and humidity swings. Very cool. Your review is great, especially the work you did to get the action dialed in.

The manufacturers continually lie to you. That Guitar is not made of carbon fiber. Get back to me in a year and let me know how the frets are holding up. It looks and sounds like a toy. You could buy a secondhand guitar for $100 at guitar center and you would walk away with something of higher quality. Not trying to be negative, I just hate to see young people buying crap. But as a travel guitar for the price I paid I am very happy. In terms of setup and playability out of the box it was surprisingly good. I would argue a lot of decent guitars are coming out of China these days (the new China made Epiphone are getting accolades). Every brand is different of course but I have no issue recommending this guitar for travelling or even beginners or younger players who need a smaller guitar. @@boechlerguitarsandrepair not going to debate the issue if you’re happy with it. After you play guitar as long as I have you start to realize that a guitar can sound OK in the beginning but after hearing it over the course of a month, your ears will tire of it. I have probably owned over 250 guitars in my life and I can’t think of one Chinese Guitar that I found inspiring. As far as carbon fiber guitars opening up, they don’t. That’s the whole point of carbon fiber it doesn’t move it doesn’t change I would never recommend a new player buy one of these guitars they will outgrow it so fast it will not be worth the investment.

      @@thereyougowithbryan6014 I think you are right about the opening up, it may have been the strings just breaking in. After owning a music store for 12 years and trying thousands of guitars, I think it's all about the individual instrument and not where it's made. Played some great inspiring Chinese guitars and some terrible US made ones, and of course the opposite. Just find something you like and that speaks to you, don't worry about the price or where it's made, and get playing
