    Thanks for the video! I really appreciate the gameplay hints, suggestions, & explanation of the basics of Mando. I’m an OLD newbie to home pinball ownership. First played pinball in an Air Force Base barbershop as a 9 yr old boy; 1965. A nickel per play, a dime for 3 games. It ate my weekly allowance of 25 cents! Like you, I am fortunate to have a Mando in my home. Deadpool on order! Your calm approach to playing the game is to be commended! Those (narrowly) missed ramp shots that drain lightning fast have tested my patience a few times! Came across your video via a Mando search. Now, a new subscriber! - Gramps

      Hey Gramps! Thanks for the kind comments! I love mando. It’s still my favorite game in my collection at the moment. I also have a Deadpool and that’s a great game too. I’ll be doing an instructional video on Deadpool soon. Thanks for subscription!

    Thanks for this tutorial! It seems to be the only concise one on RUclips. One thing that would help newer players like myself out, especially with the commentary format, is drawing on the screen which lanes you're describing. I heard you talk about center lanes and certain drop targets but with everything going on its hard to follow exactly which lanes/ramps you're referring to. A visual aid would be so cool! Again, thanks for recording this.

    Got my first NIB with Mando and your Tutorial was VERY HELPFUL, especially with the backhanded shots. Yes MANDO is a very close shot game… Did not know about the Sneaky Skill Shots! Nice! Enjoyed your video, you went into the game pretty good- Subscribed!

    My go to tutorial video. Fantastic! Watched this video before I owned it and was lucky enough to score a Premium before Christmas (have always been a Pro buyer). Now watching again to try and get my head around the game to enjoy it more....just got a Godzilla and Mando didn't get much play, but now I've found myself drawn back to Mando again. To me, it feels like a completely different game to what I usually like.

      @@slipstreampinball awesome! To describe what I like, my collection is very Borg heavy. I'm not a competition player and not a novice, but my scoring is usually low. This game is making me want to learn the rules and not just follow the lit shots every game. Thank you!

    The problem you describe around 10:40 might be a common thing for these machines. On the Mandalorian at my local arcade when the ball comes down the left orbit it tends to deflect off the pin above the target bank (or something around that area anyway) which sometimes deflects it right down the middle instead of going straight down to the left flipper. Big pain to catch it, especially seeing as the tilt setting is really tight on that one.

    Great video on the gameplay elements. I heard a few audio "pops" during your video and was curious if you had any issues. I have had the premium model for a week and have noticed some pretty jarring audio popping from time to time.

    • @slipstreampinball
      @slipstreampinball  2 года назад

      Thanks man. I appreciate it. I didn’t notice any audio pops. Do you mean the loud squelch? Stern replaced the knockers in the game with a high pitched squelch. If that’s not what you’re describing, please let me know where in the video you heard them.

      @@slipstreampinball That's what it is... I'm a noob, lol. But I am really enjoying playing and agree the back-hand shots are where it's at. Especially back-handing the foundry for missions and extra balls (I need 'em).

    • @slipstreampinball
      @slipstreampinball  2 года назад +1

      Haha it’s all good! I seem to remember the squelch starting with games around 2010. It’s not as satisfying as the old knocker but I don’t mind it. Keep backhanding and keep that ball under control and you’ll get better!

    nice to watch... :)
    while i just get a Mando PRO home to study it, we're playing same path/tactic, you were 1 shot close to the green/razor wizard, and than seems we all have same prob to advance in the red/encounters levels...
    PS : as you're a good player, your tilt bob is way too frenzy (lol)
    ++ ;)

    • @slipstreampinball
      @slipstreampinball  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for the comment. The camera on the lower left makes it look like the game is moving more than it is. Although, admittedly, the tilt could be a little tighter 😃
      The encounters are like anything else. You just have to try for it. In this game, I didn’t really shoot for it. I think I always save it for last because it’s the least fun mode in the game.

      The shots are pretty good. But, with so many of the shots close to the flippers, it can be a bit difficult. I like to use backhand shots a lot on the game. Every shot can be made with both flippers. Go play it on location and see what you think. 😃👍

    Spike systems suck crap , I did not have problems on that game but jurassic park was cheating me changing the replay scores on games raising them before I won on them and stuck switching that stopped me from the skill shots e.c.t I've played these games for years on location and I know what the game rules are by hart, I got first place on that game you are on, that game was good when I played it!

    • @slipstreampinball
      @slipstreampinball  2 года назад

      I like the Spike system. My games are only used in the home so the replay value is a moot point. However, I’ve never seen a replay score increase with Pugh getting a replay. Typically, operators have them increase based on people achieving the required score. Sucks you had a stuck switch!
