    Wow. This channel is great. Glad I found it. Working my way through older videos.

      Any chance you could give some insight here... I have the chance to buy Godzilla Pro locally and thought I had made up my mind. However a Premium Star Wars popped up and now I am stumped. Background - I have to drive 1 hour 20 min to play any type of Pinball so getting a home machine will be my daily and training to be better. Do you think compared to Godzilla that Star Wars might not be the best choice. I have probably 30-40 games on Star Wars and have loved it so far but I do realize it is a fast high risk game. Is this (fast/risky) what makes a good home game?? Or does Godzilla become that optimum training pin? thank you.

    This is a very legitimate strategy. Actually tried this at Delaware for their Pinburgh style tournament several months ago and easily won my group.

    You should do a walk through each strategy, this ruled. Great job Travis

      Thanks. We do have video gameplay recorded of each character. Just have to get the videos edited. They should all be out prior to John Wick content.

      The true key to this video was default outlanes with rubbers on, but don't tell anyone, that'll be our secret.

      It's something different no doubt. I'm still not sure how it'd hold up in certain situations, but for a way to play the game different and experience Star Wars in a different way, it's fun.

    nice video again ;) and you've explained the only way to score big points (the PF multiplicator) on SW ! easy to understand, very hard to master...
    i'm an old man (57) and really its complicated for my brain (to order hands) to change lanes quickly as the game is going...
    but than when i see my son (27) moving this as he really gets 3 hands !!! so "easy" for him (i'm jealous lol)
    btw, we're good/tournament players (but not wizard/top as you), my son best is 22 B, i'm "only" at 14 B, but than as a key shoot, i've succeed, just 1 time, the perfect HYPERSPACE shoot (on X40) at... 3.6 B in just 1 hit (4 B being the max while the timer is starting running when the ball is coming right ramp > right flipper)... good luck to beat me (and happy if you do it ;) )
    enjoy SW

      Thanks! That's awesome that you and your son are both playing. These under 30 kids and their reflexes, lol. 22B and 14B is nothing to sneeze at, those are world class scores on Star Wars. Keep up the great play!

      Late response here, but I'd say both pins have their place. Godzilla is a fantastic layout that has some crucial risk / reward elements built in, especially with tier 2 level battles. Star Wars is a different beast in which if you want to score high, you have to manage the multiplier the entire game, which ends up causing you to switch from offensive to defensive more than any other modern game I can think of. Ultimately it depends on what type of gameplay journey you value. Risk / Reward through mode progressions on Godzilla? Or Risk / Reward with moving a multiplier around the playfield to cash in on massive jackpots or hurry ups on Star Wars.

    So after watching I'm not sure what indicates the multiplier timer and how to keep the multiplier (what to do not to lose it)

    • @ThePinballCompany
      @ThePinballCompany  4 месяца назад +1

      Every several seconds you can hear a sound effect that indicates the multiplier is about to timeout. The 3 bank target below the LCD screen will reset the counter and progress the multiplier.

      It sounds like a fast and deep thump thump thump thump and get faster and faster and then when they are out will have almost a powering down sound effect

    What software are you using?

    • @ThePinballCompany
      @ThePinballCompany  4 месяца назад +1

      Not sure which software you're referring to so I'll answer with anything I can think of. The game is on v1.25, I use OBS to record, DaVinci Resolve to edit, and various other equipment for voice recording.
