Also on 0:33 mark you can see the message "In memory of Joe Joos Jr.". 3rd page in the game manual tells the operator that this game was dedicated to him as he created the mechanism used firstly in Pinbot. He died in 1994 at the age of 53 as result of tragic illness.
Holy heck, this table's awesome! :D The music's dope, the display shaking as you hit the visor buttons is a nice touch, all the casino theming and moments of risking your earnings felt tense, and the point values earned being super high makes this look very fun to play. Great job with explaining and pulling off stuff on this table too!
Jackbot is such a fun game, always cool to play casino run and try not to hit that bomb is always a challenge, unfortunally I don't have this table for real, but I enjoy playing it on Pinball Arcade. The tables from the 90's Williams never gets old, great music and some interesting shots to make.
I've been playing the hell out of mine at home. Little tip: since you can change the "game saucer" game with the left flipper, go for the Slot Machine and Roll The Dice first, as they are independent of anything lit up on the playfield. You'll do better in Keno if you wait until you have more of the chest lit up, and Poker if you have more cards lit up. Granted, it's not a difference of a ton of points, but hey, points is points.
One of my go-to favorites, and one I can consistently put up 2 billion+ on. Managed nearly 5 billion in a competitive game not too long ago, mostly thanks to a decent multiball and an _extremely_ lucky Casino Run that alone racked up over 1.8 bil (and this was a machine on normal settings, so no extra score from Extra Balls and Specials to help out there - if it was on tournament settings, I think I got at least 3 specials, so add an extra 1.5 bil to that).
25:40 Time Enough at Last 25:50 the Joker's Wild? Jack Barry / Jack Bot Seems to me that I read that 3 of a kind awards a special. But I've never seen it happen.
A very informative review, very fun to watch ! This pinball is a classic and style wise it rocks, but I think it was pretty limited. Did not enjoy it when I was a kid. It appeared in the music video RED 5 - DA BEAT GOES which was awesome !
Oh, I didn't know you could double your winnings by starting a multiball. They just tell you to shoot under the ramp. Also, maybe I just never noticed it, but I think The Pinball Arcade's version of Jack•Bot doesn't have the center post. The saucer going down the middle is definitely the most annoying thing about this (and by extension, Pin•Bot). It was preserved in The Pinball Arcade too.
***** All right. I guess I never noticed it because on the device I use, it's zoomed in a bit and the bottom of the flippers is at the bottom-most row of pixels.

"Good advice, Dumbass!" Bowen, I needed this tutorial.

Probably the hardest I've laughed at one of these tutorials so far and it was still super informative as always.
The pinbot series of games were great. My personal favorite was bride of pinbot.
this is by far my fav tutorial so far, informative AND you were having fun while doing it :) keep up the good work guys
Love this tuorial. I own a Jackbot since two years and the rules are very deep and play is so cool.
Man I needed this kind of explanation as a kid, had no idea there was this much depth. Great video!
Awesome tutorial! I just bought a Jack bot, so this is so helpful!
Great tutorial man. Keep em coming.

(natural triple) ... "and you directly to the bonus round."
What bonus round?
It was a joke.
(But in all seriousness, getting three of the same symbol awards an instant Special)
@@CaptainBZarre Bowen must be a fan of the joker's wild and press your luck.
25:40 Time Enough at Last

This turned out pretty good on Pinball Arcade on Steam.
2:46 Absolutely incredible TLC reference.
Love this table and I do miss mine from time to time :)
Even watching the tutorial there's a lot going on with Jackbot. Fast and Fun...
A very informative review, very fun to watch !

Cool tutorial.
If you are not having fun, it is not pinball.
I hope Zen makes all three bot tables for Pinball FX 3.
lol still waiting on those
Damn, i do play with socks only but I'm really not good as Bowen ! Does he have magic socks ??
So glad this is at my bowling alley
the skill shot is easy put just a little more force than the middle hole and give the table a bump when over the middle hole
Good run on Jack*Bot!
Informative and entertaining, noice.
12:05 😂
Pinball music needs more saxophone.
And definitely more cowbell.
Are you planning making such tutorial for Riverboat Gambler?

+Overhazard There is a center post on Jack*Bot in Pinball Arcade.

+Overhazard It can also be done if you start the Casino Run.
So what's the hidden skill shot?
How can someone dislike this video???
Each switch actually scores 4 million during Casino Run.
One of my favorite tables on TPA - Never played an actual one but would know exactly what to do if I did :)
Has anyone ever made it to a TRILLION points in Jack*Bot?
Hold both flippers during casino run ...
such a good game. the gambling aspect is a huge draw to an already great game (even though pinball was originally a gambling game in itself..).
