Well done, as always Bowen! Also, really love the editing and cuts between the DMD and the playfield. You guys have sure come a LONG way since the early tutorials. Thanks so much and keep up the phenomenal work!
This was the very first pinball game I ever played as a kid! It felt near like magic to try it out. Naturally I sucked and lost fast. I'm still not good at these games, but I still love them !!!!
An awesome pick up and play table. Forgiving, loads to do but not over complicated. Cool loops and a fantastic atmosphere. 9/10 for me. Really a feelgood table. Awesome explaination by the way. Love the PAPA videos.
Aweee man!!!! Good memories playing this awesome pinball machine and one of my favorite ones!!!Indiana Jones!!! Wish I could own one!!! Great game play!!!
@@jetk247 I did sell it. 11k It was a monster to keep it playing 100%. Lots and lots and lots of moving parts. But I modded mine to the gills. I miss it.
Motion economy in action right here. Great commentary while playing so smooth. After watching someone this good, it’s amazing how well they control the ball (s). Can’t wait to play this at my local place. This machine seems to hold it’s value too.......would love to have one for home use.
You made a huge impression on me by completing the video mission in which Indiana Jones rides on a kind of wheelchair or trolley. I personally always have a problem with her, maybe because I did not beat myself and I do not know the layout of the tunnels by heart. Greetings :)
Regarding "Escape in the Mine": when do you need to move the flippers? Is it possible to hold the left for example and take turns to left "automatically"?
There was one that I remember at a Ceaserland in the chicagoland area, but the game somehow always loses the ball and we don't know what happens to it.
Great video , my favourite pinball , played it to death in the 90's We are hopefully buying one soon . I thought I knew this machine until I watched your video . Your ball handling skills are pretty good too! Cheers From Adelaide Australia
Problem with the Path Of Adventure on the game in this video are shorted switches, some are triggering themselves when it moves. Next to that the 'rotating' lights on the Path Of Adventure software bug is present during modes like steal the stones. This happens when you reach POA level 3 or 4. Especially annoying during the wizard mode... :)
David My IJ pinball upper mini play field hasn’t been working for quite a long time now, I have tried before to determine the problem and fix it but nothing has seemed to work. The problem for mine is sometimes my mini play field motor won’t even turn. Another big problem I have is when any mini game is triggered and played, the plunger that stops the ball before the play field always goes down as soon as the POA turner on the right ramp switches. I’m not quite sure what my problem is in this case, so I was wondering if you knew anything about this. Also many of the switches on the mini play field do not work either, but the optos that determine what way the mini play field is leaning seem to be in working condition. The motor for the mini also seems to sometimes work, then not work at all. It almost seems like the game knows that the upper play field is broken so it makes the ball not go down that path to avoid error. This would give an explanation the the plunger going down as soon as a mini game starts. I’m desperate at this point for any suggestions of what to do next.
Unless extra ball hole is lit you're just trying to get the ball down the whole path which will then be brought back to the playfield on the left side, depending on the lights it may take multiple shots into the Path to clear them all; it *is* possible to get the ball to go from one side of the Path to the other but it's tricky and you may hit a hole and have to try again anyway. I tend to do all one side first then hit the ramp and do the other side.
What happened with the POA modes is if you get the travelling light on main POA, it overrides the modes and messes everything up. The bug is so stupid that Zen DISABLED the travelling light feature in rom settings because of it.
@@pinballwiz45b weird. i was messing about with a challenge in fx3 and it never happened. i shot the POA a ton, and did drop in the holes a few times. (shrug)
Devon Tennison as Cookie Masterson Stifler Indiana Jones and Nayomi Rodriguez as Schmitty Stifler Marion wants to thank you for playing the Indiana Jones Pinball game.
My first pinball table I played at a amusement park. I was chased away 'cause i didn't lost for like 3-5 hours of play haha. Probably the table was in some safe mode with ball saves turn on always or bugged ^^ :D
This machine holds dear memories for me. From a careless time where everything seemed fine. Sadly I don’t have the 15k€ to buy a real one, so I gotta use.. *gulp* ..software.
I hear ya, it's not just the money but the upkeep too, these things can break down and can cost hundreds/thousands to fix. I've been playing Pinball FX3's (Pinball FX is newer but I don't think the way the table feels on it) version of this table and it's pretty tight, so far the only thing I cannot replicate is his ability to hit the Modes Start drop with the left flipper the way he does, but as he states that shot isn't available on all (real) tables.
The game does NOT correctly identify the correct number of (good) IJ films. Then it should only be two. Because while the 4th was bad, the 2nd was not much better.
Okay thanks for answering to a three year old comment, I didn't expect that :D And I just noticed that I misunderstood the "not completeable" modes. Thought it means too bad programmed and therefore not completeable. :) And I was afraid since I got my hands on a good condition Indy pin which arrives this Sunday
How not to design a pinball game. Jam every square inch with random color and useless artwork. Overhang the playfield with vision-obscuring plastic. Include music from an organ grinder.
Legend has it that Papa is still playing ball 2 on this pin. Nobody knows the score because it's flipped too many times.

Felt like rewatching this excellent tutorial since the fifth movie just released. :)
It would be nice to see a proper new pin based on Indy.

Thank you Bowen!
incredible how he safes and controls the ball even if it hits right through the middle. Would be great if I would be half as good as this guy

Yes, you can keep the flippers pressed in advance and the cart will turn :)

YAY! It's here! Thanks for this guys.
Great stuff! Your videos have become excellent.
great video!!! our league has one of these, im one of those players that only ever shot multiball, i never thought to back hand the mode start
This is coming to FX3, so I’m preparing the best way I know how: watching Bowen.
Me too 😂 feels almost nostalgic, I've been watching this video over the past couple of years, longing for a digital version.
That table is mega hard.

During Path of Adventure, I don't understand which hole you are trying to get the ball into and which holes you're trying to avoid.
