Great comparison mate! Ive loved my oxp mini pro since i got it, but picked up a win 4 2023 and am looking forward to delivery next month. Seen you just got a win 4, would you consider a comparison between the mini pro and win 4?
I hope loki skips the 7840u and comes out with a 8000 series near launch of the chip and that they put in a 7" screen. Given how big the body is its ridiculous to not have one. It's just a wide as the onexplayer. Just use a 16:9 7" screen and make it the smallest 7" candy bar style handheld
Believe it or not, a 7in display wouldn’t actually fit in the current body. (I did the measurements) They would need about 1/2in more width to the device. This is because of the way the device curves at the edge.
How often do you use a micro sd card in your laptop? I know i never do. Its only needed if space is limited. With a standard SSD you can get a 2tb drive for cheaper than a 1tb on the aya. and a 4tb for the price of a 2tb. And while the keycaps themselves are smaller, the actual joystick is not smaller. Its not a switch style joystick. So with the simple addition of a joystick grip you have a full size joystick. That said unless you get a good price on either of these there is no reason to buy a 6800u over a 7840u. So for the onexplayer its been replaced with the onexfly.
@@creaturecore13 I really only use SD card for emulated games and I always upgrade my SSD, but some people don't want to open the device to upgrade so SD card is a simple way to increase storage. Also, I use stick caps on all my handhelds but the sticks on the OXP Mini Pro are NOT the same size as the Loki max. The Loki Max has much more travel because the stick is actually taller then the OXP. But yeah, probably should look for a 7840u device at this point. 👍🏽

you can also plug in an NVMe SSD via m.2 external case instead of using an SD card for the mini pro. you'll be able to get faster speeds vs an SD card

I would take the loki max. The one x player has no micro sd reader plus the joysticks are smaller.
Yeah, joysticks are definitely more comfortable on the Loki max. The OXP is Hall effect so that’s something that some people like.
