Amazing old time Collection this Man amassed over the years. The average guy today would be fortunate to own just a couple in the condition in those displays
I've purchased several Case knives from Mr. Foster. Very knowledgeable and cool gentleman. Thank you Mr. Foster for all you've done in this very specialized hobby.
I received my first Case knife a couple years ago, as a birthday gift. Beautiful, well made knife. I showed it off on my knife channel. Love your video!
Man I wish I could get ahold of you Tony. I'm looking for a few specific case knives. Mostly an older case kodiak. Thing is that I'm wanting it to use. Not to put up
Thanks for the news. It was nice to be around him. He enjoyed life. He sat at a knife show and "held court" like a noble and it was always fun and educational. I am so glad he shared some time with the video camera. The gator Show won't be the same without him.
That's a good question and a surprise question as well. I will have another video from these guys that, for me, explains that. It was to identify what year it was made. So that begs the question: Why didn't they just put the date on them? I guess this way was cryptic? One stretch of time they had 10 dots and each year removed one dot. But you had to know the code. Why put the date on at all? For collectors I guess. And there are a lot of collectors.

I wish someone would ask Mr. Foster how he feels about Jim Parker.
Why did they change stamps? Really?
