Every time Elizabeth sees Jason she sees what could have been and what she lost. She has never been a true friend to Jason. Elizabeth continues to lie, and manipulate in order to get what she wants with no regards to what Jason really wants. Its exact what happened when Lucky broke up with her she did everything (which for Elizabeth means lying and manipulating) to try and get him back even though he told her that's not what he wanted. Elizabeth says she new better. She does the same thing with Jason, it's all about what Elizabeth wants and Elizabeth needs. A true friends is there for her friend and for what he needs. Elizabeth doesn't know how to be a friend to Jason. She could see how much Jason is hurting over Sam a d she doesn't care all she sees is her opening in to try and get him back. A true friend wouldn't see a friend in pain and use that. I also find it convenient that when Jason said that he wanted to know what Sam said that all Elizabeth told him was that Sam said was that she could have him, but Elizabeth didnt tell Jason everything that Sam said about how hurt she was, how scared she was and how it hurt when Jason couldn't try and love her and the baby.
