That was literally the Wonderful City. Nowadays Rio has nothing to do with "wonderful", just a broken city ruled by drug cartels and corrupted policemen, shootout and dead people every single day. From the deepest of my heart I would love to be wrong about that. The Wonderful City is just a memory of those who had the chance to live there many decades ago. It's unbelieveable how this went from gold to dust.
@@DusanRodic Rio is nowadays a lot better than some years ago, homicide rates are at a 30 year-low, robbery rates at a 17-year low, making it statistically safer than at least 40 major US cities, also, lots of entirely renovated and beautiful areas, such as Porto Maravilha, look it up, or Parque Olímpico
@@DusanRodic there's an expression in English - "don't believe the Hype", ppl typically only like to post negative things.. spend some time in Brasil and when you leave everything else will just look depressing..
