I've been visiting there few days ago! I went there in last October 12 that was the Christ the Redeemer's anniversary and also my birthday. October 12 here in Brazil it's national holiday. It's celebrated the Nossa Senhora de Aparecida, Saint day of Brazil and also the children's day.

Just an honest question to all christians out there, as I'm curious as to what your responses will be: Why does an all-powerful, all-knowing and all-loving God allow for thousands of newly born children to die horrible deaths due to diseases every year? I'm struggeling to find an answer myself and am hoping to have a civil discussion with some of you. :)

However, by Christian logic, nature is created exactly as God had intended, therefore showing hatred to nature is showing hatred to God's creation, hence to God. I however do not hate nature. I love nature, although in nature one could very easily find things to hate (such as diseases or - a very trivial matter - the behaviour of a cuckoo). 2. I wish we were. Many diseases are still unable to be cured, leaving thousands of babies to die every year. I assume this hurts you just as much as it hurts me. In all honesty, I am not trying to vilify anyone. If you feel like I have been mean to you, you of course do not have to respond.
