I bought one for my X-T4 last October when it first released. I don’t think I will ever sell it even I go SONY full frame next year. One of a kind lens even it is just APS-C.
@@tommytexter4054 hi man! Do you still have the same opinion? Have you owned the 56 1.2 prior to this lens? Can you give me your thoughts especially in portraiture?
@@Walkdthock I have rented 56 1.2 for 2 days about one month prior to buying 50 1.0 I think it is too big and heavy. But it is still 1.0. Still can get lower ISO or higher shutter speed at night. But sony full frame has better high iso performance than fuji. So I think 85 1.4 sigma new art is better lens to carry around. But this 1.0 is still has a place in my gear collection. Portrait is real good. I love how much bokeh i can get on a apsc lens on a relatively reasonable size. But i still think 85 art is better one or 135 GM if mostly outdoor.

So Good. I once told you everyone could do that with the right model but your framing is really good and you know what background and foreground a high quality output needs! And btw this lens is a beast!
It's so awesome to see Julia and Jayde Heiser working together again! I've been subscribed to this channel long enough to that's its been a while😂. These photos are awesome, the bokeh from the lens gave a nice dreamy look:) awesome video
Julia Trotti I totally know how that is! It is super like either green or just browns and yellows here haha I am always looking for some kind of flowers to used! I totally know that excited feeling of finding something like that during a shoot! ❤️
I loved the video, as always! I'm loving seeing the FujiFilm lately, because I don't see it very often. Thanks for consistently quality content and education! :)
I always comment the same thing over and over but you are so inspiring to me! I think I have learned almost everything about portrait photography from you and I'm so happy about that
All the shots look great. My favorites where the close ups where she has that branch near her face and also the ones where she's on the field and the sun is behind her. The lens flare one is really nice too. Honestly you can use any lens you want but it's your style of shooting and editing that keeps us coming back for more 🙌🏼. Dan does a wonderful job as well ✨. Beautiful preset. I hope that you will accept credit cards for your presets soon. Like maybe putting them on Etsy or something.
Thank you so much! Those closeups with the branches were some of my favourites from the day too. I appreciate it a lot 😊 also I will look into what I can do!

Great stuff. You are an excellent and amazing portrait photographer. I have seen a lot of full frame photographers moving over to Fuji. Love looking at your videos.
The lens and the photos were so beautiful! 😍😍 I could imagine the challenges you faced for getting your model in focus. She moved around a lot! But a challenge I would take on as well 🤣🤣 The images were stunning 💖
