Nice to see the scientific community are still working together regardless of events in eastern Europe. Regional conflicts are holding us back as a species. We'll never reach the stars (or even Mars) unless we put such things behind us and all work together as one.

These are the things people refuse to acknowledge. In the grand scheme of things, our little disagreements don’t matter, but what does matter is our ability to advance humanity beyond what is currently possible. One big thing being interplanetary travel and exploration.

43:50 So the cabin is pressurised? How do they do that as the rocket zooms them up at incredible speed? Surely the pressure must change very rapidly as the altitude increases? We know how uncomfortable it is to be in a normal airliner - it must be horrible with such immense speed. (and the noise must be totally unbearable too of course - how do they protect their hearing?) Can anyone point out the equipment used to pressurise the cabin?
The suits look extremely fragile compared to traditional spacesuits. the helmets and visors in particular look like toys. I wonder how they get the gases they breath into the helmets from the single port on the body of the suit?

Crew 7 will return in the Crew Dragon they launched in back in August. It's docked on the other side of the ISS IIRC. They’re due home next week sometime. There’s also a 3 person combined Russian American Crew who launched from Kazakhstan last year in a Soyuz capsule. It’s docked to one of the Russian modules. There’s also going to be a Crew handover w/a new combined Russian American Crew launching in a few weeks. Toss in the, hopefully happening, first flight of a manned 2 person Crew of Boeing’s Starliner in a few weeks &…It’s a busy time right now up there. 😁😁 Hope that answered your question. Take Care!!
