Werter Herr!
Apologies for replying in English, but there are around 50 DDZ trains running around in the Netherlands. They will replaced in de next ten years, though, with the upcoming DDNG (DubbelDekker Nieuwe Generatie - New Generation Double Deck trains), as they tend to be a bit unreliable compared to other train types and do not offer level boarding for passengers, which will be required for all trains from 2030, with the only exception being the VIRM train type.
Hey, i'm from Germany. Your signal system is very simple. The rules are at some points quite similar to ours. But I have one question: When the entry signal shows "expect to stop" then it also means that you reduce the speed to 40 km/h. But it isn't pre-signalled, so you can only brake when the signal is recognized. How is it ensured that the speed in the subsequent area is not too high for the turnout radius?
The Dutch system is pretty simple indeed. The most important rule in this system is that the driver has to be given a fair opportunity to reach the necessary speed, which means that if there is any turnout radius that is requires a lower speed, the signals before that point will require the train to have slowed down already to that speed. For example: lets say that there are four signals. Between signal 3 and 4 is a turnout with a speed limit of 40 km/h and the normal line speed limit of 140 km/h when driving straight through. Signal 4 is at danger (red), as per your question. In the normal, straight through situation, with the signals placed at an appropriate distance, the signals would simply be: 1. Green 2. Green 3. Yellow 4. Red But when the turnout is used, this changes to: 1. Green 2. Yellow with a 4, to ensure that the speed limit of 40 km/h is met at the next signal, and to tell the driver that the next signal ISN'T at danger/red 3. Yellow 4. Red Does this answer your question?
@@dutchtraincabrides1421Yes tanks! 10:50 : I thought the speed reduction of 40km / h was related to the turnout area. But as I have now read, you always have to brake to 40km / h in the Netherlands when the next signal shows stop. In Germany it doesn't matter how fast you are (except for train control system), the main thing is to stop. That's why I was confused.
i know Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Coen Louie Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
