Why have you deleted the IT Career Accelerator replay videos. Please share link to watch them.🤔😕
Thanks so much for your interest. The 2-part training series was only available through our annual sale, which ended on Wednesday (Nov. 30th).
However, some of the topics from the training sessions will be presented in their own RUclips videos over the coming weeks.
The first one will cover the configuration of MPLS, and will be released on Dec. 8th.
I hope that helps explain things, and I wish you the best in your studies.
Ok sir. Thanks for your reply.☺
Waiting for the videos then...
Nice to see you, Kevin, one of my old-time and favorite Cisco trainers, from RS to VoIP and collaboration. I realized the trend many years ago and moved to the cloud, but, as you said, cloud without basic automation and IAC skills won't take you anywhere.
Thanks for the information that’s exactly the path I have set my career on.
Something to keep an eye for the real world is to have some sort of knowledge of project management, I have found myself in situations where I know the company that I work for has many areas or process that need to be improved and there's an opportunity to own those improvements, however with a lack of project management you will not know where to start making those improvements
That’s a great point! Although the main goal of the video was to identify IT domains to have knowledge of to avoid becoming “extinct,” I completely agree that PM knowledge is also super valuable to IT professionals.
Yes you are absolutely correct
We need to upgrade us with cloud security and automation skills
I agree, traditional network engineering is dying, everything is moving to the cloud and needs to be secured and automated. NE has to be good at programming (middle level and above) and also have other skills you have mentioned.
My favourite trainer 😍
Great talk 👏👏
Thank you for your smart brain ♥
Thanks for Sharing, Great Information!
Are you going to publish 5 key network concepts on YT? Would love to watch more similar material since I'm a cloud data engineer. Thanks for all your work!
Sir, where does SDWAN/VIPTELA sits on your insightful list?
Thanks very much for these suggestions Kevin. 🙂
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for the great videos.
Unfortunately i wanted to rewatch it and both of them are not available.
The material was great.
Is there a link where i can access it?
Thank you in advance.
Network automation is what i wanna do. A big fan of robotics and programming them to do there task. Will defintly join the second part
Kevin. And what do you think about Linux certifications? In my opinion it comes handy in cyber security, automation and cloud as well.
Brilliant Thanks
Will the 2-day seminar on the 25th and 28th be recorded? Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend them live but I would love to watch them.
Hi Shameer, Replays will be available through Nov. 30th. I hope you enjoy the training!
@@kwallaceccie Awesome!
this is how we also reduce overall work force in IT.. instead of joint functions, you now have people who are not great at either discipline having to perform both. and they will then also be utilized in development projects and network projects, having one team replacing two, and creating a shit ton of buggy ass headaches in the process.
Interesting, I have an Azure Certification, going for my LPI Linux Essentials
and was thinking about DevNet Associates. But I am surprised that AWS is at the top of that list.
Azure’s growth rate is higher than AWS, so I think your Azure Cert is super valuable. However, currently, AWS makes up a much larger percentage of cloud infrastructures (32%), compared to Azure (19%). So, getting an AWS cert might me nice to add, in addition to the Cisco DevNet Associate cert. Personally, I would set a goal of getting the AWS cert in the next three months, and the Cisco DevNet Associate cert I’m the three months after that.
@@kwallaceccie Some business uses a multicloud platform. For example Azure for Azure AD and Azure connect, the AWS for some application and GCP for other services. They all have there strengths and weakness so it would be good for one to broad knowledge of the cloud in all three platforms. The Client that I support uses all three.
This is bull%%t. I have three AWS cloud certifications, one Microsoft cloud cert and two cisco certs and I can't find a job. The only people who get hired are ex military people and people with security clearance. Basically, if you ain't working for the government or have a connection to the government jobs , you ain't getting none Basically, a security clearance has become a replacement for anything including a PHD in anything. I am tired of the all bs.
I agree. But apparently there are hundreds of thousands of jobs...
Yep totally agree time to evole. Already cleared the AWS SAA, and currently learning python daylee, what do you think we can do to improve in the cybersecurity part ?
AI /Data is huge too IMO, more so in 2023 than in 2022
Hi Kevin, can Python skill help me to go ahead in my Network Engineer career in 2023 ?
I have also plan to sit CCNP exam next year.
Python can help you in the future if you decided to pursue Cisco Devnet cert or even learn Ansible and the Cisco DNA Center.
Since we all need a basic understanding of network automation, I think learning the fundamentals of Python would be a good move.
Grate advices, thanks Kevin. and good luck
thank you, a lot, for the information, that the path I set to challenge myself the next year.
What do you think about going deeper with some DevOps technologies like docker and Kubernetes ?
I already studied the basics of them in college, thank you again
Thanks Kevin, for the information. I've registered to it and excited to join!!!
in all of those so called most in demand certifications you still need a solid understanding about f networking
Excited for this !! ❤🎉 I also saw Light and Magic..was great. Love what lightsabers are made of! 😂
Hi, will the IT Career Accelerator or an offering similar to it be available for sale again later this year?
1000% agree
always find quality content in your videos... I can't find the videos of the 2 sessions.. Please, Would be thankful if you assist me.
it was up earlier, not sure why now removed :O
Please Sir @kwallaceccie for someone starting a carrer in Cybersecurity should he or she starts with Networking, because am going for Cybersecurity and I was told to start with ISC² introduction to Cybersecurity. So am confused. Please I need your advice Sir please 🙏
Start with CompTIA certifications if you are new to IT. A+, Net+ and Sec+ then take further cyber certs. Get experience in general IT as Cyber Security is not a field for beginners in IT. Hope that helps!
Hi Alexander. I recommend checking the requirements of the specific (ISC)² cert you have in mind. It might require that you have to have one year of paid work experience in cybersecurity, in addition to passing the exam. If that’s the case and if you don’t have that experience, I would get the CompTIA Security+ cert instead. Also, while CompTIA does have a CySA cert, which is more focused on cybersecurity, I think the Security+ cert should be earned first (and it seems to be more respected in the industry). I hope that helps!
@@kwallaceccie so I shouldn't bother myself starting with networking since my focus is on Cybersecurity. I should start with the CompTIA security+ . Because your video says start with the basic of Networking. So am confused Sir
If you are a Cisco Fan. Cisco has there own Cybersecurity platform called CyberOps.
Don’t take any comptia certificates, its ok to do the training but leave the certs well alone. It will only see you as a newcomer.
Bad advice to recommend comptia certifications
