yes they can it's more about race craft than your "REFLEXES" sure you have to be in shape and it is physical but if it would be your main job since you were like 9 you could do the same
Trackmania players reset a level 100 times before finishing. There's a difference between memorizing a level to perfection and reacting to unexpected circumstances
@dayhawk12 Driver sim work is mainly for simulation correlation and a little bit of practice. Yes, it helps them be fast around a track, but what it doesn't help them practice is reacting to a slow driver on your racing line at the corner exit of a blind corner. I don't think that particular scenario is one they practice in the sims. (Though technically, this was in F2, not F1). Let's put it another way... Imagine if, after multiple runs in Trachmania, they put a random obstacle on the track; one that was in the way of your fastest line. Would you be able to avoid it? Trackmania is almost a different mentality to racing or even sim racing. I play both, and they're fun, but racing is almost like a game of chess sometimes while Trackmania is like qualifying minus the traffic.
Imagine how strenuous it is to fly in the air race x series. The margin between living and dying is razor thin if they make even the slightest of slips.

You're right 🤝

@@CrimsonRegalia as if the drivers don't have the best driving simulator in the world to do the same
