"Fortunately for him (Ten Cents) the famous Bright Cafe band was giving Grampus one of his restless nights so he decided to mosey around the harbor he was worrying about Ten Cents and hoping he could find a way to clear his name"
I always liked the concept of the Bridge Cafe Band, it was a fun bit of worldbuilding. Looking forward to anything you do with the music from Tugs, there's a lot of interesting pieces and I'd love to hear your take on them.
I can’t believe people know this tune and that people gifted enough managed to take a 1980’s synthesiser rift and make a full blown Jazz piece in its style!!! This is totally brilliant!! Take a well-done guys!!!! Respect!
I don't know why but there's something about this theme that feels so right in tugs. Maybe it's because it was just made by the talented Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell but nonetheless it's one I can listen to hours on end. And especially with this remix version you made was absolutely fantastic can't wait to hear more tugs themes in the future.
Absolutely amazing! I can’t dance to save my life, but now I want to find a partner and dance to this, (even if she’d have to go to the emergency room for broken toes, lol)! Like most of your rearrangements, you knocked it out of the park sir! I can’t wait for the next Tugs composition, (cough cough, danger/rescue theme, cough cough), lol! Bring on the future collection iTunes release, we’ve had “Themes of Sodor”, so how about something like “Sounds of Bigg City”, or “This, Is Tugs Themes”, you can have those, lol!
Tip for playing the contra form a contra player: an adjustable stool is amazing. I saw you found a way to use the case to play standing, but sometimes it’s nice not be be limited by where you can fit the case. Awesome sound btw!
This song always makes me think of two things. One, Louisiana during Mardi Gras, or just a night on the town, and Two, A speakeasy from the 20s/30s. You my friend, captured both feels and I LOVE IT!! Keep up the fantastic work!
I didn't expect such a yellow sour lemon scottish narrow guage locomotive like Duncan to have a relatable groove of life! Its still a bop after those few years! 🎉🎉🎉😊😊👏🏾👏🏾
Oh my STARS! (Heheh joke) this is awesome! You absolutely NAILED THIS! I can’t wait to hear more Tugs music, maybe one day you could do Johnny Cuba’s theme or the danger theme?
Well, kudos to Nic for his beautiful playing. I don't understand jazz all that much (don't get the vibe), but this piece was lively and great fun to listen to. You caught the "café on the pier" mood very well.
Its nice to see you doing more tugs music. I for one would absolutely love to see you attempt the Danger theme. Because no clean copy of it exists on RUclips
Why do I imagine this fitting well with Percy But seriously, you nailed this one! Yes, you've nailed everything else, but- Actually no, you BOLTED it. That's how much I love this song. Keep up the damn good work as always! 👍
I know everyone wants the danger theme next, but can I suggest an obscure theme. In the episode trap, right after the tramper blows up there’s a real great bop when all the tugs get pulled into rapped waters if not then. Ah well this was so well played.
Judging by the fact Tugs takes place in the 1920’s, this remake sounds like it came out of the 20s XD Great job! Mind if I use? I’ll put credit in the description and on the video it shows what music is being played and by who
How's making Rosie's theme going?😊 I got a new Trainz version of her that got released on Ravenshire works yesterday.🖤💛❤🤍💗💓👍🖱⌨🖥 My WiFi made this load halfway through this theme's premiere... 😞
I really enjoyed this theme, it sounds like something that was made from The Muppets. I also loved the video style you went with. I guess the only other Tugs theme I can think of is the Danger theme. Although, I do want to hear your interpretation of the Postman Pat theme.
"Fortunately for him (Ten Cents) the famous Bright Cafe band was giving Grampus one of his restless nights so he decided to mosey around the harbor he was worrying about Ten Cents and hoping he could find a way to clear his name"

I love the Dixieland feel that you gave this piece. The only one who wouldn't like this would be Grampus.
The big clarinet is out. Awesome!
I had a great time working with you and this turned out even better than I imagined! Stay jazzy 😎
Thanks for working on this man!
hey nic i like your chanell
@@Sebastian-gk5um Thank you! I'll be uploading more soon :)

It's the 20's in the 80's for a one time show
Your last Tugs remix was amazing, can’t wait for this one!
oh, OH, OHHHH. LETS GO!
I’m a simple man. I see contra-Clari in thumbnail, I click. A very nice piece, and one that I enjoyed listening to very much!
We like simple mans around here 👏👏👏
This is a fantastic arrangement! Great playing both of you! It really suits the 1920s setting of TUGS as well!
Another great collab video!
This theme os such a banger and my ears were just blessed listening to this with live instruments
I can play this at the sea side,a party,a pub,on a walk, all the time! Its perfect for anytime u just wanna relax
Bats, tugboats, lightships, and submarines love this.
The danger theme from Tugs would be awesome. Edit: Or a mix of Edward’s and James’s theme would be interesting
Hearing how absolutely amazing and haunting his cover of Duncan gets spooked was, I'd love to hear the theme from Ghosts!
Oh yeah the danger theme is going to be awesome they even put a loud brass instruments
How did I miss this?! This is perfect! Awesome work ❤
this one's a bop! shows hope for new tugs themes like warriors theme
Coming from the famous Bridge Café is Zorran, towing the loudest barge of the day. Nice music Luke, very nice music!
As a tuba player I can officially confirm that contrabass clarinet is awesome
Since it’s New Orleans style I feel like a sousaphone would have been a better fit than a bass but I still really like it!!
If you ever decide to do another TUGS cover, I suggest you do the danger theme.

I like how Luke is clapping in the background and enjoying the song. Real groovy
“This should be interesting!” 😊
Hey Luke! I can’t wait for this one!
This sounds like someting I'd hear in an actual café from the 1920s. Well done!
I am so excited for this!!!!!
This sounds like something ripped straight out of Legend of Korra, and I love it.
Music to my ears! The Bridge Cafe Band's theme is one of my favorite themes of TUGS.
Thank you so much Luke! That was awesome!

How- HOW DO YOU MAKE IT SOUND SO GOOD
WHAT KIND OF BLACK MAGIC GOES ON IN THAT HOUSE OF YOURS???
👀👀👀
He made a deal with the Devil at a crossroads lol
You know hes the musician pro right?
Yay Tugs my favorite
I just can't see how this made Grampus restless... this tune's groovy AF!. Guess the Navy doesn't have a taste for jazz.
It was too groovy for him to be able to sleep, I suppose.
I can now imagine an actual band playing this, and keeping Grampus awake.
The sax and clarinet solo was awesome!

Love this theme! Should be great!
This is my favourite among the musics that Mike O'Donell and Junior Campbell made. Thank you for making a cover of this
Amazing! Really like this theme! Can’t wait for more themes form Tugs!
Coming soon!
Very 1920s style.
I feel right at the regata!
This is probably my favorite theme out of all the tugs and thomas and friends. Keep doing what your doing :)
Absolutely swingin'! One of my favorite covers you've ever done!
Ahh thank you!

Haha thanks Nick! With his annoyed expression all ablaze 😂
