Most U.S. recipes call for heavy cream when making custard cream, but I dislike heavy cream / never have it. I always go to this video to learn how to make custard, to use as a macaron filling. It's really good, thank you! 💕

GUYS. I literally just finished making these this morning and let me tell you they were not kidding when they say it's the best. The bread was pillowy soft and the warm custard was so creamy. I drizzled some melted chocolate on top after it cooled a bit and I am currently trying my best not to inhale the whole pan. I made these by hand, and followed the measurements exactly, just added a bit of flour to the dough when it was sticking. Give it a go, it's a fantastic recipe ❤

Thanks for sharing this. I made this today with kitchenaid worked well too. For some reason I can generate 9 buns with just 2 egg yorks for the custards.. But still full of fillings.. It's a crowd pleaser... Love it...
