My wife and I did 15 day cruises to Hawaii for our anniversary 2 years in a row. The Miracle is the most magical feeling ship I've ever been on. Lots of wood and spar varnish. Amazing craftsmanship. So beautiful!! To be out in the Pacific 2000 miles from the mainland and 500 miles from Hawaii over ocean that's almost 4 miles deep is just unexplainable. Loved it!!! ❤ awesome cruise!!!!
Nice! We looked into doing the Panama to Galveston from Long Beach later this year but the dates don't work out for us. That's a bucket list cruise for us!
We are booking a cruise on the Miracle in May of this year, this was pretty helpful to get a feeling for the ship. Thank you for posting it. I would have liked to see the interior of the gym and a couple of the other spaces that you didn't go into to not disturb the staff, but that is my only real suggestion for a change going forward. I also personally am booking a balcony room and I am trying to get a better understanding of the views from the balconies and the extended vs std vs premium balcony staterooms, particularly with respect to the the "obstructed views" it seems some balconies are substantially blocked by the lifeboats, and some are very minimially affected, and Carnival is fairly vague about that. It seems the higher decks are less affected but that is a guess. Anyway I appreciate the tour, I'll be sharing this with the rest of our party.
Thanks for the kind words. We were in room 7289 and zero issues with any kind of obstruction from life boats or other issues. The obstructions are I believe on decks 4 and 5, so I'd avoid those. Hope this helps.
@@ParkJourney isn’t that the same thing as chopsticks? Or are you talking about somewhere completely different on the lido deck? The place where they have chopsticks is sometimes the omelette station and other times it is a seafood place that costs money. Thanks!
Just a heads up, splendor is way newer than the miracle which is a very old spirit class ship. Splendor is what led to the dream class. Splendor was it own ship type all together. Miracle is basically one of the oldest ships carnival still operates. Not the oldest but def on the decommissioned within 10 years list.
That's mostly accurate, however Splendor is different from other Carnival ships because it was built for Costa and Carnival transferred it right before construction was completed.
Thanks for sharing! I totally agree with on the smoking in the casino. Carnival needs to cater to the majority non smokers. Which increase their revenue.
Sailed on the Miracle in 2022. It was sold out and yet never felt crowded. Such a great ship

This ship is headed to gulf coast in Galveston TX
Cruising this November on this ship.
I haven't driven by the Port of Honolulu for quite a while and saw the ship docked thus discovering this channel.
We appreciate it!
Thanks for posting this!
Have a feeling I'll be reading quite a bit in Gatsby's Garden. Looks nice and out of the way! Booked for Alaska in Aug.
great info! my 1st cruise is on this ship in Feb 2024. I totally agree about the smoking issues....
feb 13?
Our first cruise was on this ship in 2015. Smaller but probably my favorite Carnival ship (Memories I guess). I hope you have a blast.
Husband and I really enjoyed your Miracle tour! We're scheduled for a Panama cruise on her in 2025 out of Galveston.

I’m booked for October this year to bring it from San Francisco to Galveston. So excited to go through the Panama Canal!

Cruising on this ship in November!
😍
That was cool, thanks for sharing
Is there a gym?
Yes
do they still have Chopsticks chinese food in the one area that is the omelette station during the morning?
Yep, still have it. Although we also did find some Chinese food at one of the other stations during lunch as well.

@@grneal26 No, this was at the carving station (included with the cruise), they had sweet and sour pork there, which went well with our chopsticks.

Thanks for that. For some reason I thought the splendor was older. Definitely need to get on one of the new ships next. lol.

Carnival experimented that idea with the Paradise. Huge fail.
