    Very nice. My trailer came with the JT Strong Arms from Lippert.

    i had the same problem in hitting the jacks in a dip, so i installed a piece of channel in the top , screwed into the rear underside of the trailer, i cut a u - shape in the bottom of channel to slide the scissor jack in , drilled a hole from back to front and installed a pin drop bolt, to hold the jack in place. this way before you leave, you can remove the jacks, without bottoming out again. , if that not for you, then install roller wheel the same height , or higher on the rear of the trailer to get from bottoming out, and damaging the scissor jacks. hope that helps you.

    We went with Steadyfast stabilizers. Solid as heck. Wife and I get a wee bit of nausea when the camper moves a bit.

    You guys are just awesome, thank you for the little details even down to the Bolts... that stuff is so good to know BEFORE you leave the hardware store and head home an hour away, lol! So really, thank you! You ROCK! Those are awesome!!!!! Now I say, (as Leo walks back to the bedroom shaking the whole rv back and forth).....I WANT SOME OF THOSE!!! 😆

    You need a cordless drill! It would speed things up a lot.
    Our 5th wheel has JT strong arms on the front. It helps a lot. I also put one of those trapezoid stabilizers on the rear bumper. And use x chocks.

    C'mon you two, there is a funner method of rocking a trailer. Send the kids to the movies for the afternoon... 👌

    There's nothing crazy about the Hillbilly Stabilizers. 2 - 2x4's, 2 Eye hooks and a ratchet strap for under $20 and works great!

    Why you gotta bring up Zion hahaha We have different automatic stabilizers, but we've been trying to find something that works better. This shake got me like.... AHHHHH! lol

    I know you commented you had to switch out bolts due to size of the current bolts in the stabilizers. But did you have to go with a shorter bolt as well in lower mounts? Have a 2017 Keystone Passport 2920BHWE and installing the XBrace. Ran into similar problems with the hole sizes to small but instead of buying smaller size bolts, I drilled it out. But now noticing the lower mount bolt with spacer is too long and has some sliding play in it. Says tighten until no slack but I run out of threads before that can happen. Thinking I need to swap from the 4 1/2 inch down to maybe a 4 inch long bolt.

    • @NoOrdinaryPath
      @NoOrdinaryPath  3 года назад

      Yeah, I would either get a fully threaded bolt or just go with a shorter one. Hope you like them, just remember to always loosen before attempting to lift the jacks up. We really notice a difference with ours extended now!

    Just got my stabilizer jacks..... my axles are too close together 😢

  • @Bwanar1
    @Bwanar1 3 года назад

    Nice...been waiting for that and the results. Do you have to tighten and loosen the braces every time you put the jacks up and down; or can you just put them up and down already adjusted? Also, do they fit on electric jacks similarly? Thanks in Advance.

    • @NoOrdinaryPath
      @NoOrdinaryPath  3 года назад

      You have to tighten and loosen each time. Not hard to do though and as one viewer pointed out, having a cordless drill would make it go much faster.
      Not sure if they would work on the electric jacks. I suggest calling MORryde and talking to their customer service to make sure.

    You are TOO FUNNY, Harbor freight. NO, NO,NO. It also help if your jacks are not so extended. My 2 Daughters are nurses, and I tell them, cheap is not always the best way to go. They have a old saying, pay me now or pay me later. Your wife is just a CUTIE.
