I have a theory about Bob after watching Justin since he CHANGED his style. Justin's changed form has him getting much more force to the ground without a hammer. It's more like "torque". Well, I wonder if Bob, with all of his height, got fast when he was younger because he had been running... Hills.... 🤔 he had all that torque and thus, he didn't need such wasyed energy in high knee lift...
Let me piggy back on the angles after block clearance with respect to the body alignment. The shank angles is what is going on in the beginning, with relationship to the ground. The body is obviously at rest at the start. So you need force/power and being in that body alignment, upon block clearance, you are not in a position to sprint fast. You are pushing back to go forward, to offset friction, and inertia in this body alignment. So keeping the head down longer while in this body alignment, allows for you to generate the force/power to help propel you downward/outward on the track and not upward.
I am a track and field coach from Jamaica and I really learn from your video
Glad you were able to get helpful info 💯🙏
