Epic ride! Everesting is a killer, can't imagine with a BMX
I did my first everesting last week on Alpe du Zwift, hard as hell but the satisfaction at the end is unbelievable!
I did one in 2017 on my own, had a mate come and join for the last few reps to make sure I wasn’t going to die😂 I had all the data on my Garmin all day, I think your way is better because the math was doing my head in fro 6000 meters onward. 4 am start, finished at 8, 13 hours riding time. Didn’t shift gears all day😂 smallest, even on the downs getting up to 75 just rolling. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to try it,but I’m so happy I’ve done it. Broken for quite a few days afterwards.
What a great support crew. They all know something about great physical efforts, but all stand in awe of Francis. As do we.
I can never get enough of Jimmi and Emily, but this time, the Daisy cam was really great. You can tell how proud she is of him, and how pleased she is to be part of the effort. Great stuff.
I watched the intro, heard the plan .... and haven’t even got as far as seeing the results ... I say this now because at that point, I immediately said “ you are sh#tting me”

brilliant effort mate, great climb to do it on but the wind can get intense towards the top, one of my favourite climbs in the NE too, i planned to do a ride around there on friday but got called into work, gutted now, chapeau!!!
