Looks like a nice smoker. Love my WSM, but I really like how much more convenient this appears to be to access the fire box and water pan. Definitely on my radar for an upgrade now cause I usually want more cook room than the 18.5 WSM provides.

The new Chubby 3400 is being shipped with wood reinforcement boards attached inside the bottom of the smoker. They aren't plainly visible unless you are looking for them. They need to be removed before use! They will ignite!

Would someone please confirm that the new Chubby 3400 comes with stainless steel racks instead of the product listed nickel plated racks?

So is this product made, assembled and all that in the USA? This has me rubbing my chin in curiosity which is also dropped in awe!

The standard and G2 are made in the US. The 3400 is not.

You have to breaking your smoker first before cooking on it. Use your favorite oil wipe everything down inside the smoker box your favorite oil. Than let it run 4/8 hour or two. For the best results.
    That's my suggestion

A great company that caved to the Chinese...video of their first import and they have to include owner adjustments to lack of manufacturing quality control.
