I'm pretty sure it is because when attempting the kick flip he is really focusing on dragging his front foot up off the pop, he'd land a very high Ollie easy if he understood that that part is just as important in the Ollie as on the kickflip.

This dude is a natural. He was always meant to skate, he just didnt know it. Sometimes, all you need is for someone to show you that you CAN do it instead of how.
I always say skateboarding is so underrated because everything is waaaay harder than it looks. Only those who have tried it understand how hard it really is, so people who haven’t aren’t as impressed as they should be.
I can’t skateboard , I don’t want to ( I’m an X-ray tech , I see broken bones everyday , I just can’t do it in my soul ) but damn this was cool . Seeing 2 dudes just help a dude learn something even the veteran said is hard , dope !!
it's not just him having potential it's also the teacher's way how easily he could teach people wanting to learn. i always see him running a clip where he sees a student "i want to learn this" He either ask if you can do this and start with that, look at how their habits and movements are, and try to guide them to make them actually execute correctly. and the scary part is YOU as the viewer actually follow it if you had a board and some confidence. :) he is really one of a kind teacher.
That’s actually so cool not only have I never seen someone learn a kick flip that fast, but we gotta give the biggest props to the teacher, That’s the only person I’ve seen, actually explain how to do a kick flip, that would make sense(not “since” 😂) to someone who’s never done it.
