Love how well he explains it!
After 12 years of dealing with debilitating “low back”, Hip, Leg & even groin pain, I had the Si joint injection-OMG! I felt no pain for 18 hours! Even weeks later, the pain was reduced from a 9 to like a 4-5!
It’s been two days since my fusion & he is right! My pain is just localized by the fusion area, which is a lot less than my pre op sacrum pain!
    Find yourself a Good Neurosurgeon!
If you are in South Florida, I highly recommend Dr. Steven Dutcher. Amazing Doc!!!

I know you posted this a year ago, but i really needed to see a message with long term pain finding resolve. My SI pain has been diagnosed and misdiagnosed and i have had this pain for 25 years. It has only been 7-9 pain for about 3 years in total as i have found some relief for about 28 months with a pain pump. I'm scared it won't work because of all the misdiagnosis i have had, but I have to try something because my life is so hard at 46 I can't imagine 56 or even 66.

I've been to Dr Smuck. He is the rudest, meanest, brutalist, uninformed doctor I've ever been to in my entire life! He literally diagnosed cervical dystonia as left-sided fibromyalgia. And was very mean in doing so. He basically told me that I was in denial, and mentally incompetent because I know that left sided fibromyalgia does not exist. He told me never to return to Stanford hospital or he would have me committed for a mental evaluation. I was so crushed by the way he treated me I cried myself to sleep for months in agony afraid to see another doctor. I now have to see a therapist for PTSD because of the pain he caused me.

Oh man, I am so sorry... I am taking it that he is old school. They think they are God- types. And every request that they ask should have been done before it came out of their mouth! It is not right, nor fair. I hope you have found a good counselor that is helping you get through this!!

I'm truly soooo sorry i had a Psychiatrist, make me feel the exactly how you feel. And I'm truly sorry that you went through that. No doctor should treat us like. We don't know our own bodies and that they because the numbers or letters. I should say in front of their names. Are you living in physical pain? If so I really pray. You found another doctor for a second opiniand you are getting that taken care of as well blessings to you❤️
