- A round up of the 2024 Game Fair at Blenheim Palace. I spent the whole 3 days there and had a good look around. I still think of it as a dog Show with a few shot guns. have look and see what you think.
I go when i can but i much prefer Ragley Hall , Due to access, egress, etc !
Thats the reason i give Blenhiem a miss nowhere near as good as the CLA game fairs.
Its not as good now if farming or are working terriers, poultry etc.
I think you've hit the nail on the head. It's still a good family day out, a little bit pricey, though. There are probably better county shows and country fairs locally.
Never as good as the old CLA Game Fairs.

The scopes look nice but I'll bet the guns they are mounted on don't shoot worth a snot ! Lol lol

I would bet that the dog has missed her. They remember important people for their whole life. The same ad we do. 👍
No airgun stands at the Game Fair and noticeable absence of suppliers and manufactures. Disappointing.
I agree, The Game Fair is usually weak from a shooting sports perspective. It's a social event really. I tell every manufacturer I've worked for it's not the place to be. It's great for tweeds and working dogs. Thanks for watching.
@@RealAirgunAdventures Only air gun catalogue I came across, and obtained, was of the 'Cometa' range from Spain. Interesting range of "high quality" airguns and informative catalogue. Previous Game Fairs I've attended have, in the past, had stands with displays from most of the prominent airgun manufacturers. This year, even Hull Cartridges stand didn't even mention Weihrauch! Agree with you, the Game Fair has predominantly become a retail shopping event.
@trevorharper7504 I think the Ragley Hall shows are better, but it's all down to manufacturers and distributors to invest. The British Shooting Show is the best, in my opinion. 👍
