Thanks for sharing the video, I have not see it done like this before, looking forward to seeing how it works out! Cheers for sharing the video, Stay safe!
Hey Mark, great to see the queen bee raising videos. Good one Thanks. I have a problem with pronunciation. My wife is always picking on me for common mispronunciations like there is no r in almond. Don't take me too seriously here but there no d in pollen. In one of the 3 videos on Queen raising you somehow actually managed to drop the d you usually add. Where are the long Queen cell cups available from, Please?
Was that the 'other half,' Tricia, in the background wearing the Pink Tee? G'day ! Watching the Pot Stealing Video ! (And, some Educational tricks & tips on raising Queens ! 👑) 😁 I have a Horizontal Hive, do I move the teen Larvae and Nurse bees further away from the entrance part of hive, beyond QE? For Cell Building, and Finishing ? (1st Bee Season Spring soon, here in Scotland, UK.) Girls have brood honey for themselves. They haven't expanded enough yet to move further away along into the Super area (!) Does this make sense ??? *Prefer to Raise own new Queens, off my one 1st Queen, as she is what you would say is a real "Beaute" or a "Ripper". Was in the Clare Valley, SA, in the '80's !!! 🐝 Could do a Split (?) : But own Queens (of quality) sound better. I only have the one Hive. Got some other upright Langstroth Hives and Nucs ready, but no bees. What's the best way on this ?!? Splits or Queen Raising in existing hive ? Thanks Mark and John... 😏
I wish more people were like you.
The world would be a better place if there were more people like you.

When I prepare my mating NUCs and put in my "ready to emerge" queen cell, how far do they need to be from the donor hives.

Did you know that you have 2 episodes number 259
