Hi Kollin, No doubt he was injured and hauled to safety. That sudden stop surely did him in. The sled didn't look as if it was damaged too badly. We were on our way to hike Mt. Garfield which is a 13 mile round trip trek. The sled was gone by the time we returned to the road.
