    Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for these guides, they're very useful. :) Also, the devotion tree looks really complicated the first time you see it in game, but this video helped make a lot of things easier to understand. Much appreciated!

    "It's not as big as POE's skill tree." True, but it is sure more confusing and complicated. Tx for the help.

    Bro ur the man thanks so much for all these guides. When I first start playing a game I like to understand the mechanics so I can properly express myself thru the build I am making. I struggle with this game cause I don’t feel like all the information is given. Even though I have 200 hours of time invested I have still learned so much from your videos. Thanks

    I would like to thank you for taking the time to explain these starting concepts to us new players. One thing I struggle with is point allocation. I struggle to find any videos on the subject. There also are not many guides. Most guides show off end game builds, rarely explaining "how to get there!" . An example
    would be, lets say I choose Necromancer at level 1 One in mastery and two in Raise Skeletons, or 2 in mastery and one in Skeletons? Level 2, 2 points in mastery one in Skeletons, all 3 in skeletons? Then you add in a second mastery, and now my mind just melts! I don't understand if my Character is getting stronger with more in mastery, or more in one skill, or trying to get 2 or 3 skills I really get lost allocating points, would it be possible to get a video on this subject?

    I was wondering if you could go over like what procs have weird exceptions in how they interact with your actives. Like, viper reduces resistances on attacks, but it doesn't specify that it has to be weapon damage attacks, I think. Like, storm totem won't apply the viper debuff. What other devotions have unexpected mechanics like that?
    I actually ask this because I always use assassins mark on forcewave when I'm leveling a soldier, until recently I started using the falcons one (or it might be hawk) because I can't really tell if the assassins mark is even proccing with forcewave. I'm assuming it is, but since it's only on crits I don't notice it cuz forcewave kills stuff so fast. But even on bosses, I can't tell if it ever procs. Does it show a little symbol like a broken shield above them when it's on em? Now that I think about it, if it didn't work with forcewave, they probably just wouldn't let me bind to it eh? Viper would be unique because it doesn't bind to a specific skill. So maybe that's all it comes down to, is just whether it even allows you to bind it to the skill you're using to proc it?
    TL;DR: If a devotion can be bound to a specific skill, that skill is always able to proc it?

    Is it viable to take all defence devotions and make unkillable tank with close to 0 damage, that kills bosses for hours? Or such meme builds are not possible in GD?

    • @rektbyprotoss
      @rektbyprotoss  3 года назад +1

      That is certainly possible :D

      Yes, possible. Some people have done that for celestials. Literal afk builds... though the one I saw, he GDStashed his items so he could give them specific affixes and what not.

    what if im lvl 24 and i havent devotion in my skill stash? is it bug or what?

      Devotions have nothing to do with your masteries. You should always be able to open the devotion window, even with 0 devotion points. You gain devotion points by repairing shrines or defeating monster waves from within shrines. If you cleared shrines, but didn't get any devotion points or you simply cannot open the devotion window, then that is certainly a bug. Try verifying your game files or report the bug to the forums forums.crateentertainment.com/c/grimdawn/bug-reporting , hopefully someone can help you out there. Good luck!
