Which topic should I talk about next? - components/crafting - how to properly use grimtools - how to properly use GD:IA - how to make your own build (AoM+) - where to farm endgame gear depending on your powerlevel - where to farm materials - leveling items - secret quests - how to prepare for x dungeon/boss - sth else?
Where to farm materials, using grimtools, make your own build. But I would put endgame gearing as top of the list. I feel that would go along with make your own build as well though so we can actually play what we theory craft. Great series you have going on one of my favorite content creators.
Does attack damage converted to health on weapon attacks also apply to the flat damage bonuses for %dmg attacks? E.g. on the 3rd hit of cadence you will get some flat physical damage bonus. Does the flat physical damage bonus also get lifesteal applied to it?
Good info here! I should've watched it earlier instead of assuming devs had gotten beyond the LCS days of Diablo 2 XD A couple questions: 1. You've mentioned elsewhere that forcewave scales with cast speed instead of attack speed even though it has % weapon damage. Is there a way to tell which skills scale with which speed modifier (aside from trial and error)? 2. So retaliation damage isn't scaled at all by general modifiers (e.g. the fire retaliation from demolitionist's vindictive flame isn't scaled by flame touched's +% fire damage)? That's so weird o.O Does that also apply to +% all damage (like the last node in jackal)?
1. Generally the rule is: If the char uses his weapon visually for the attack, it will scale with attack speed. If it doesn't, the attack scales with casting speed. Forcewave is I think the only exception. 2. That is correct, none of the %damage modifiers scale retaliation damage, not even %all damage (like jackal), you need to specifically get the %retaliation damage stat if you wanna scale retal.
Thanks for clarifying :) Good to know that attack/casting speed mostly work intuitively. It'd be nice if forcewave's tooltip had a line like "the animation length scales with casting speed", but I guess it's one of those things where you learn it once and know it forever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also one more question, does dual-wielding the Honed Longsword from Angrim make Ring of Steel have higher change to activate as compared to wielding one Honed Longword and one other sword?
The two RoS procs are independant of each of each other, so yes it does overall increase the chance to proc one of the two RoS, but you could even proc both RoS at the same time.
Very nice series indeed. What build would you recommend for the minimalist. I mean, I get very spastic on the keyboard. Any good sustain build that requires minimal keys. Thanks a bunch
For now I can recommend any Forcewave Soldier, my Leviathan Deathknight and my (upcoming) PB Blademaster, which I will post on youtube probably early next week.
@@rektbyprotoss its kinda disappointing to miss 5 bounces on AoM... Is there a soft cap for offensive ability? Like is there a point of diminishing returns or a level that will 100% hit chance? (baring defensive ability of course)
@@FerrumAnulum I dont think there would be any cap for OA/DA but generally for endgame, you should have 3000+ for each if possible to counter against enemy's OA/DA

how to use Grim Tools and syncing with your save
Where to farm endgame gear and how to prepare for x dungeon/boss would be my first choices

Very good video! I'm very much in for "how to make your own build". I wanna know how you built your OP builds! :) What is the procedure?
how to make your own build sounds great. many of us want to know what to properly look for in order to make it through the hardest of contents
finally a good comprehensive explanation ty
Learnt something new about Lifesteal from this. Thanks!
Thanks for making this!

Yes.
As long as a skill has %weapon damage on it, all of its flat damage will lifesteal for you.

Aaaahhhh ok. I was wondering which stat was accuracy. Was missing a lot of my attacks so I need to stack a little more offensive ability.

Just remove it crate.
