- What would women consider ideal girth in a penis? Is bigger better? In this video on UroChannel, Dr. med. Dr. phil. Stefan Buntrock, urologist from Göttingen explains vaginal dimensions as they were assessed in MRI studies. The discussion revolves around the dimensions of the vaginal introitus, the entry point for penetration during intercourse. Despite its ability to stretch significantly, childbirth and hormonal changes can permanently alter the regional anatomy. Research involving MRI scans of 28 women reveals that the average width of the introitus is 26.1 mm, resulting in an average circumference of 8.2 cm. This information is contrasted with the average girth of an erect penis, found to be around 11.66 cm in a study involving over 15,000 men. A U.S. study with 75 participants sought to understand ideal penile dimensions from women's perspectives. Results show a preferred girth of 12.2 cm, indicating that the introitus is quite accommodating. However, there are limits to vaginal elasticity, which can vary among women. An excessively large penis can lead to issues such as pain during intercourse, a condition known as dyspareunia. A Dutch study on penile dimensions of partners attending clinics for superficial dyspareunia reveals that the average girth is about 15 cm, with extremes ranging from 9.4 cm to 17 cm. The study suggests that a slightly above-average girth might be preferred by women. However, it has to be emphasized that exceeding a critical circumference could lead to problems. This information has implications for those considering girth enhancement surgery, as pursuing excessive enlargement could result in complications.

I have the impression that large girth at the base often is fine, and maybe in the middle, if doing proper foreplay and being cautious, but that a large girth head often makes women uncomfortable or even feel pain regardless of "preparations". Any thoughts on what head girth size typically can cause pain issues? @UroChannel
I feel like more men need to se this video. It certainly made me feel good about myself even tho I was never very worried. But many men and especially women still believe that 6 inches is the average length and other outdated unscientific information.

The study from the Netherlands agrees with our experience. Around 14 cm wives begin asking their husbands to stop growing. What starts as a novelty becomes a problem that can't be undone. If a couple enjoys vigorous intercourse (hard and deep), the man must sometimes forgo that experience around 14 cm. When my late wife once yelled at me "It's too big. It's too deep", I thought she was trying to please my ego. Only the next day when she was in pain did I realize she meant it. The average penis has the same nerve endings to please the man, and it's the right size to go anywhere a couple enjoys putting it.
I've never had any complaints from the girls.☺

you are right. i have a girth of 14.9cm on the thickest part. my woman always got the issue with pain.
I'm 16 cm in the middle. 14 cm would be easier for both of us. Is your girth uniform? Mine is slightly conical, going from 15 cm behind to head to 17 cm at the base. And I can feel the diameter increasing even more inside me. I 3D printed a sizing template so I know these numbers are accurate. There are many men these days getting injections for girth. I have not heard anything about how their wives feel about the change. At least those decrease over time.

There is no number for that. It depends on the couple. If pain poses a problem, long term or short term is not the question.
