You're low key the best True Crime channel, the way you tell stories is both respectful to the victim(s) and entertaining at the same time! I also love Kendall Rae, Danelle Hallan, Joshua Miles but you're my favorite. And the amount of work you must put into these videos is incredible.
I grew up in a village close to Colchester and I remember this case as it unfolded. We were so scared to walk around alone and there was an increased police presence until the murderer was finally found.
Literally only just found your channel and it’s gotta be an instant subscription I admire the hard work you’ve put in. I’ve lived in Colchester for 21 years the first victim James was attacked about 200 metres from my house and had been drinking next door to the pub I worked in that night. The police took a while to get hold of him. That whole summer was eery having that creepy little weirdo hiding in bushes with a big old knife and gardening gloves.
I hate her two parters tbh, not because theyre in two parts but because shes terrible at making it clear what videos go together. The titles are too vague and dont indicate it.
@@summer-hs8cq I think they mean that she doesn't put the part numbers in the title, or even use a consistent title for the two videos - which I also have a problem with, even though I like her two-parters and know what they are. No need to be snippy.
I’ve posted comments on at least 2 different videos on those points. I hope she/her editor starts seeing these. Her videos are always amazing, but it’s so confusing when you make both parts 2 different titles, and there’s no “part1/2”. This is probably the 3rd 2 parter that I’ve clicked part 2 first.

Hey, I’m also from Colchester and I was about the same age! I just remember the constant fear that people had around that time - my mum wouldn’t walk the dog alone or on Hilly Fields at all, and I wasn’t allowed to walk home from school by myself. I did a video about this case on Joshua Miles’ channel a few years ago so it’s really strange seeing Eleanor do it now!
I was at uni in Colchester at the time! It was terrifying. We were all afraid to walk to uni especially after Nahid was killed. I'd heard rumours about the eye stabbings but thought it was nothing more than hearsay..

Or just targeting people that would be new in town that were practically alone and have little to no family that can look out for them since those are very easy targets for murderers to get away with killing. People who are alone that not many know practically.

we’ve won.. but at what cost
I guess the two partes help her earn more YT revenue. Its a smart move.
@Annabell Callan yeah that's the bs she says to not seem greedy, it's definitely because she makes more money by splitting them, she's made a few now that could easily have been one parters. Been watching her for a long time but I find this very annoying tbh
@@tribex11 Yh it could be annoying but imagine how long she spends to research info and put a video together
@@ramzrtm yeah but others like Bailey Sarian and That Chapter do the same without milking it out for extra income. I'm not saying no video should be 2 or 3 part but lately it's been really obvious that Eleanor is doing it for the money over quality
@Annabell Callan oh I know she's said it a few times now but I don't buy it for a minute. I don't blame her really because she should make as much as she can but as a viewer I find it annoying especially when I can often watch Bailey or Mike (that chapter) cover the same story fully in 25 mins
