I made glass palettes from 2 thrift store picture frames 16x20 and inserted gray palette paper inside. The frames both have a simple 1 inch black molding with low relief, enough to scrape off a palette knife.
Yes great idea! I used picture frame glass palettes for a while but after a student set her heavy purse down on one and broke the glass, I switched to something sturdier 😅
