This episode was strange and funny for all the wrong reasons at least in regards to plot. It seems the game tries really hard to get the player emotionally invested but it all comes off as pretty superficial and vapid. I also agree that this game almost feels like an odd fan prequel: there are gaping logic holes and it hardly explains quite enough of the plot to justify itself. I mean, it's pretty telling that a game is on its last creative legs when you just fought an enemy that probably shouldn't be there and are thrown into a sokoban puzzle room the next minute! Anyway, poking fun aside, you made some great progress again, Cappy!
27:35 i would have loved to see your puppet show showing what happened. complete with drawn cardboard characters moving slightly to show that they are talking, kind of like battleblock theater
1:18:30 I mean, there is a ladder next to him, so I assume it is implied that he either pulled himself up before he passed out, or there was a large wave that washed him up there? bit of a stretch though
@ "Sorry guys, I've been reading creepy pastas all night and well, you know, you get one every 100 stories or so where now that you've heard the story it's going to come after you. Joke's on it, though, it's like tenth in line for my soul so it's going to have to fight all the other ones outside first before it can get me."
@ I think it's a perfect representation of RE Zero as a whole. The pieces are there and they make some sense (ladder = get up) but the more you think about it, the less sense and connection it makes. Kinda like how this game is supposed to explain how Rebecca got to the Spencer Mansion, but in the end the explanation, while making some sense, doesn't really fit. Who would pull themselves up by ladder, then move like... 5 feet from the ladder and lay down with their feet in the water that had dangerous creatures in it? Why would Rebecca get to the mansion on the early morning and then not team up with anyone from Bravo team, while it's still at least well lit? Very good point, Yeager.

I hope I'm not being too hard on the game... But yeah, pretty much everything you said

33:05 I wasn't even going to question the noise, I had assumed it was ambience or a creature in game

Oh, that would have been great... Maybe I should do that, mwahahaha
