I guess the sound died just to make things more atmospheric, Cappy! you know, that dreadful kind of silence before a big event. More seriously, though, it certainly is difficult to manage inventory in these games... I know it's part of the the appeal and something the genre is known for, but I always imagine some sort of catastrophic event happening like part of the dropped items disappearing because of a poorly implemented loading zone or something. I mean, I guess the Capcom designers accounted for this and made failsafes, but still, not knowing when/if you'll have future access to an area does mean you have to haul inventory now and then, it sure takes a lot of patience. You're doing great, keep it up!
