Yeah, although there are also clear jabs at Scientology as well ... such as the joke about discounting masseuses as 'con-artists', in the same way Scientology discounts therapists and psychologists as 'con-artists' for example. Not to mention the name, 'Spaceology'.

“Don’t let your girlfriend in the band” That always depends. Lindsey Buckingham insisted his girlfriend join him when he was invited. It worked, and both Lindsey and Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac. History was made, and she’s a two-time inductee to the Rock Hall.

I find this episode really odd, especially Jen's behaviour. It's sexual assault but played off mostly like a joke. I don't quite get what they were going for.
isn't Jen the only character laughing? I think they made the point that it shouldn't be a joke, even though most people would joke around it if it was IRL.
When I first watched this episode it really got me thinking. After competitions I would get a deep tissue massage done. The masseur would indicate he had finished the massage by slapping across the backside and say “done”. Never bothered me and I never thought anything of it. After seeing this episode I thought I’d test the theory out and mentioned the slapping as a negative thing causing emotional distress to some of my colleagues. Everyone laughed and thought it was hilarious. I thought it was lucky I hadn’t been bothered by it as if I had I would have been a laughing stock.
It has been many years since this episode aired. To this day, I still regularly accuse people of using wishy-thinky as the basis for their argument. Especially on the interwebs.
sorry but im only at 14:20 but did you just dismiss a male being assaulted by another male just because of his job ????WHAT????? just think if that was a female how would this episode go
The joke is that Roy doesn't realise that all UK masseurs/masseuses finish their massages by kissing the customer on their bottom. It happens to me all the time. In fact there isn't a time when it has never happened.
I love how Moss doesn't find anything remotely funny about it. Roy is obviously uncomfortable and Moss respects his feelings. They are good friends to one another.
I take it you've not seen the show without the Embrace the Suck edit.
Moss spends about 20 seconds trying not to laugh in the unedited clip.
@@24magiccarrotno he doesn't, he waits through the laugh track and maybe processes the information, he doesn't stop himself laughing
