I love the vibe of these Alaskan towns, it has a little bit of everything, the beautiful wharf, the misty forests, and the super personal and almost Western like bars and restaurants! It really is a cool place
What a cute town. Alaska is one of the few states I have yet to go to. I love the water that runs throughout the town. It's set up in such a way where the water is a true feature. Watch out for Dolly 🤣! Oh wow that museum would be my jam. I love history. The trees are absolutely massive. Love the forests of the Northwest. They have trees you don't find on the East Coast.
Awesome video guys, we have never been to Alaska before no did we know much about it! Definitely adding it to our list of place to go! Subbed for the next one
looks like a very cool place - lovely region for hiking, love hiking through a forest! Wow you just eat a long crab's leg???? I dont eat seafood so these delights are not for me but I've never seen it served like that! thanks for sharing!
That's a nice looking town. I had been in US for 5 years before returning back to India but never thought of going to Alaska but after seeing the video it seems I missed going to a beautiful place.
I’m heading to the to the screws in September do you have like an estimate of how much you spent per stop awesome videos I really enjoy and I’m taking a lot of notes
Skagway was probably about $250, including car rental, jewelry, magnets, Museum, and two breweries. We have two different videos on that. The Tracy arm fjord excursion cost $500, and the only thing we spent on it was 2 Glacieritas for $8 each. Juneau was a short stop for us since it was after Tracy arm fjord. I don’t think we spent more than $30 there. In Ketchikan, We spent less than $150. The most expensive thing there was the crab. We had a lot of things complementary on our cruise ship, so we didn’t spend hardly anything on board either. We hope you have an amazing trip! Let us know if there’s any other questions we can help you with!
Not a big fan of the city itself. Lived there a few short times over the years. The only place I have ever had anything stolen happened to be in Ketchikan. I would rank it as the second most dodgy city in Alaska to live in after Anchorage. It might look nice on the surface but trust me it has a very dark underbelly. The island itself is very beautiful if you get into the back country far away from the city.
Wow! I didn't feel that at all. Must be the spots we didn't go. It seemed very large compared to the other ports our cruise stopped at. Sorry you had that experience! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! Pretty sure you were number 150!! We get very excited over each and everyone of our subscribers, but especially excited over the milestone ones!!! Thanks again!!!
