Sad no mig-29 build, but I get that it's not a super competitive plane. It's my favorite aircraft in game and irl, so much so that I beat the game on ace using it only.
the MiG-29A with HPAA is so god damn powerful on 2000 and 2500, I even won my share of games at unlimited without being shot down, is just an amazing platform all around
since AGMs have no A2A tracking capability (duh) you have to aim for where the plane is going to be, you can also spam B, making your missiles go every which way.
I've yet to see any decent builds for the Phantom and F-16, as I love both aircraft, but they can be pretty hard to work with. The massive upgrade potential of both aircraft does suggest some potential viability, however.
Flaps, maneuv, ailerons, armor, your choice of engine buff, spw power, spw homing, spw capacity. Zap people with SASM for free while zooming and booming, and if you get direct hits it hits pretty hard.

I'm actually surprised that the Su-57 PL is listed here, I kinda thought they'd be somewhat meta since the PL is a very efficient weapon used and people might translate that to MP
#1 tip is to use the triangle button. When you hold it down, it makes your camera track the enemies. If you keep sight of them, it is much easier to get on their tail and attack. #2 tip is to make it a habit to look at your radar every few seconds. Like literally just look at it, it's a pain to make it a habit but it helps a TON once you have the habit. I often fly without focusing on the screen, instead focusing on the radar minimap to see who is shooting at me, what position they're at, etc. This is most important for when you're on the defensive; when you're attacking you should mostly concern yourself with keeping up with the enemy. #3 tip is to stay calm. If you are turning hard and following an evasive enemy that you can't get a good shot on, anyone chasing you is going to have a hard time. They may shoot to try and scare you, but don't be thrown off. I hope these tips help! If you're looking for a reason behind why it seems like I can turn particularly well, I like to use the high yo-yo and low yo-yo maneuvers, as well as offensive barrel rolls when I'm being lazy or against easy pilots.
i always use a SU-37 or 35 with a dogfight and fuel tank build focusing on normal missiles. it's fun to hunt my enemies until they can't resist anymore, or to do PSM battles without an OP jet (btw im not a missile spammer, i try to hit them with accuracy)
Interesting vid, especially with the low cost planes. Man you love your bulletproof fuel tank. Personally I find this part distasteful to use and it takes up a part slot which can open up a lot more potential for planes. Obviously anyone can play the game how they want, for me not relying on crutch parts like fuel tank and Qaams especially helps me get better and more creative when playing players using these.
Zak Testa I'll be honest, BPT is basically a necessity at high levels of play. It forces the opponent to win more engagements rather than simply getting in a lucky shot once. I drop it often, but I do a lot of clan stomping in randoms, so I take every non EML/QAAM advantage I can get :) If you ever chat with the Japanese playerbase, the really good ones, you'll find similar sentiments. @@IntrusiveThot420 I'm on Xbox and in the circles I fly in with those players who are top tier on the platform they hold a similar opinion. I think it's thought process of trying to open the meta as well. We have a preference for SPW disabled lobbies too, again for the objective of expanding skillsets in the dogfighting and PSM aspects. In the early days there was a LOT of Qaam spammers and bulletproof fuel tank users that thought they were good because the QAAMs played the game for them and trash talking went to disgusting levels so we tried to, for lack of a better term, rise above that and get better without relying on the crutches so to speak. I can quite comfortably win most spw lobbies not using said parts. Maybe the PS4 format is different in terms of player mentality. Not trying to bash anyone here, again play the game how you want and hopefully everyone is a good sport about it.
Zak Testa spw disabled is big on ps4 too :) I think it has the best playerbase by dint of age; the series has always been on PS. Anyway, we've found being able to tank more missiles is more useful than engine parts; if you master the boost phase of PSMs to do extended PSMing, you don't really need engine upgrades.
@@IntrusiveThot420 oh 100% when it comes to PSM boosting not needing the engine parts. Handy in battle royale though having the extra speed. It's a matter of preference really, I prefer to avoid being hit altogether by out maneuvering the opponent.

Warcrimes incarnate EML is easy to dodge, especially on a F-18/SU-33 if on a X-02 if it doesn’t know how to PSM makes it easy in a 37. SASM’s all you have to do is put it at too much of an angle, it won’t detonate. Will admit BPM is nice if your fighting in an EML battle, allows a mistake.
Raven 1 Nine-Ball You should take a look at the skill level of top players (some of the TITAN people come to mind) on PS4. EML is absurdly broken and is by far the strongest weapon in the game. Against randoms? You can fly whatever :) but against a good EML player you really need to be trading HPAA hits for EML hits if you want to win.
Warcrimes incarnate Like I said against randoms an EML is half useless. For us on Xbox two of the more dangerous people Are Mister X and Strigon 008, I can preform well with it as well. But yes the EML is beyond broken in the hands of a good pilot.
Nobody uses the 8AAM builds, the Su-35S with LAAM is vastly outclassed by the FB-22 (though the FB can't run a hybrid build, it's got so much more stealth), and 6AAM is 1000000% meta. F-15J HCAA is also still really good! Though the new F-18E can run like, flaps 3 and homing 2 in 2000 cost and be slightly slower but have a lot better pitch rate. And PLSL is still underused on the su-57 lol.

What about the F-2A? I'm beginning to see it as a much more capable HVAA fighter than the Sukhoi despite not having access to PSMs. It's very nimble and a lot of people don't realize just how good it's Maneuverability is.
Second Path i haven't looked at the stats, but holy crap is it good. I've been enjoying airbrakes more and more lately, so I'd figure Flaps / Maneuverability / Airbrakes / High-Pressure Components / Msl power 2 / msl homing 2 / datalink / spw power 2 would be nice. I still wonder if there are more stats that determine how maneuverable planes are than the big spreadsheet everyone uses says... so overall, I think the F-2A and the Su-33 are about evenly matched thanks to the nutty speed on the 33.

I know this is super old but... Su-57 PLSL "non-meta" *squints*. I think you just struggle with one of the best aircraft and builds in the game lmao. The low cost stuff made sense for those low cost rooms, but nah, PLSL is literally right behind EML X-02S in terms of atleast Battle Royal(e) dominance. After that you're looking at HVAA on any aircraft that has it.
Definitely agree nowadays. This video is olllllllllllllllld and I give it a lotta leeway for that. The HVAA homing scaling never got patched which is just absolutely stupid. And the way you can trap people between the PLSL and GUN fire streams has always been top tier. Honestly though, it never seemed like there was any AC7 MP content that really covered builds and tactics seriously. Or at least I never really found it by the time I had made all of these. C'est la vie. Good feedback though! And of course PSM boost phase extension tricks make a lot of this list obsolete and I never really learned to do PSM shooting in the end, so my skill level stayed pretty much "pub lobby stomping" compared to the clan types that stuck around.
You can see some other weird artefacts of these videos being old as fuck in the Mirage 2000 and F-2A builds. Especially with the F-2A, knowledge of how HVAA worked wasn't widespread enough for me to find at the time, so the tactics are just nonsense.
Oluwagbemisola Akioyamen I use a small amount of "basic fighter maneuvers", which you can google, like the "high yo yo" and "low yo yo". If you can learn how to defeat an opponent who is turning tightly, you will find it easy to rack up wins.
Fans say that we waited 12 (actually 3years cus I don’t remember a 7th being talked about right after 06) yrs for this and the dev team had a rough development; So I’m just saying if this is the Important installment to Jumpstart this series again then why did they Finnish it not 100% ? So ok they really did have a troubled and Tight budget and resourceful development and the Fact that they had to Delay made me hopeful that they will make it Just Fine . But Alas - Ace 07 is Very lacking and Cheap flight graphics and plenty of other abandoned features ! So it sold well anyway, Now they will probably have a better Opportunity to make an Actual Good Ace combat but as of right now they are in Stagnation because of a Global crisis .
mR andross guy the development team works for the publisher. So when the publisher says "your series is dead. Get your game out NOW!" the development team has to do it.
MSTM is basically a combination of QAAM and HCAA when parts take their place in both weaponry and maneuverability, giving the XFA 27 perfection when it comes in high action dogfights!
It's hilarious if you've ever played real flight sims. Think of it more like a space fighter game, rather than a flight sim, and it will make more sense. Regardless, it's quite fun! I would recommend mostly getting into it for the single player content.

Hm, I would say it's better to play with the Expert controls first before getting in to multiplayer. Bamco forced Project Aces to change which control scheme was the default one, which is super annoying. The series has been using "expert" controls as the standard ones since 1995, but they had to switch for ac7 thanks to publisher meddling. Once you've got that down, 6AAM su-35 is a really good place to start!
1v1 is dominated by EML and PLSL mostly. HPAA is extremely good but you have to understand how missile shots interact with PSMs, which I frankly never mastered lol.
I desperately hope that they'll offer an F-15 S/MTD or F-15 ACTIVE in the next game, assuming that it the overall performance of planes remain similar. The additional maneuverability and PSM capability would make it an absolute beast of a plane. Plus, it's a cool looking tech demonstrator with an awesome irl paint scheme. What's not to like?
If it's about the su-35S, sorta. SM has higher natural HP, but it ALSO has activation delay on its high-G turns that make it a pain in the vagina to fly.
Hold your "change target" button down :) your camera will follow your target as long as you hold it down! And as for how the plane moves, when you get new flap actuators lv3 and superior maneuverability lv2, you'll see that it makes any plane a LOT more maneuverable.
Run ECM, and if you want to be SUPER annoying, Msl power 2, homing 2, and your choice of flight time 2 or reload time 2. They're hilarious. Just get in a fight, switch on your jammer, and make everyone mad forever.
MiG-31B Foxhound Speed/LAAM build & YF-23 Black Widow II with HVAA's with Acceleration/Special Weapon Speed parts that thing may not turn as good as the F-22 but it can recover speed and cheese the hell outta the QAAM spammers i also love to screw with people with the A-10's tight turning radius and go full gun/mobility spec edit i use the expert controls also to be honest i find 6AAM & 8AAM's much more annoying than things like QAAM's cus how people just spam the hell out of it

I'll tail some1, try to guess when they'll psm to fire and catch them at the point of stall. But, the missle will sail by more often than not on my tries.

Random Gamez Incredible OP maneuverability and QAAMs with PLSL for guns? It's OP. It's also very large, and burns speed really fast, so you'll want to watch your speed or else you become rather easy to hit. Frankly I usually find Ravens to be easy points in most rooms despite the platform's high stats :)

Yeah, PLSL is very uncommon. It's been months since I've seen one on PS4 multiplayer. For some reason people just don't use it.

Nah just get the xfa 27 max out mobility and MSTM capabilities and become THE KING OF THE SKIES UKNOWN
MSTM is basically a combination of QAAM and HCAA when parts take their place in both weaponry and maneuverability, giving the XFA 27 perfection when it comes in high action dogfights!

this game looks ridiculous.
It's hilarious if you've ever played real flight sims. Think of it more like a space fighter game, rather than a flight sim, and it will make more sense.
Regardless, it's quite fun! I would recommend mostly getting into it for the single player content.

Hm, I would say it's better to play with the Expert controls first before getting in to multiplayer.
Bamco forced Project Aces to change which control scheme was the default one, which is super annoying. The series has been using "expert" controls as the standard ones since 1995, but they had to switch for ac7 thanks to publisher meddling.
Once you've got that down, 6AAM su-35 is a really good place to start!
To add on to this: expert controls give you full control of your plane, standard controls don't give you as much control.

1v1 is dominated by EML and PLSL mostly. HPAA is extremely good but you have to understand how missile shots interact with PSMs, which I frankly never mastered lol.
I desperately hope that they'll offer an F-15 S/MTD or F-15 ACTIVE in the next game, assuming that it the overall performance of planes remain similar. The additional maneuverability and PSM capability would make it an absolute beast of a plane. Plus, it's a cool looking tech demonstrator with an awesome irl paint scheme. What's not to like?

If it's about the su-35S, sorta. SM has higher natural HP, but it ALSO has activation delay on its high-G turns that make it a pain in the vagina to fly.

Hold your "change target" button down :) your camera will follow your target as long as you hold it down! And as for how the plane moves, when you get new flap actuators lv3 and superior maneuverability lv2, you'll see that it makes any plane a LOT more maneuverable.

Run ECM, and if you want to be SUPER annoying, Msl power 2, homing 2, and your choice of flight time 2 or reload time 2. They're hilarious. Just get in a fight, switch on your jammer, and make everyone mad forever.

Expert, they used to be the default since 1995. Bandai-Namco forced Project Aces to switch the default control scheme for ac7.

MiG-31B Foxhound Speed/LAAM build & YF-23 Black Widow II with HVAA's with Acceleration/Special Weapon Speed parts that thing may not turn as good as the F-22 but it can recover speed and cheese the hell outta the QAAM spammers i also love to screw with people with the A-10's tight turning radius and go full gun/mobility spec
edit i use the expert controls also to be honest i find 6AAM & 8AAM's much more annoying than things like QAAM's cus how people just spam the hell out of it

@@IntrusiveThot420 didn't notice the builds at first on the top right lol. Do you have tips on how to utilize hcaa or hpaa? I'm having trouble on figuring out what situations are best to use them. I'll tail some1, try to guess when they'll psm to fire and catch them at the point of stall. But, the missle will sail by more often than not on my tries.
Joe p for both HPAA and HCAA, you want to get very close, like, EXTREMELY close, and shoot at almost point blank range.

Random Gamez Incredible OP maneuverability and QAAMs with PLSL for guns? It's OP. It's also very large, and burns speed really fast, so you'll want to watch your speed or else you become rather easy to hit.
Frankly I usually find Ravens to be easy points in most rooms despite the platform's high stats :)
