Always good to see you behind the McKay stitcher. I have just finished my first few resoles using mine, learning setting the needle height and castoff adjustments, always nice to see an experienced user at the helm to build my own confidence and technique.
@@wonkydonkey7899 It seems you missed the point of his comment. It is called irony. I am sure the commenter knows Goodyear makes tires and rubber products. His point was...a Blake stitch was used to put on a Goodyear sole. Goodyear, (the man), not only made rubber products, but he also invented the, 'Goodyear Welt', which is a 360° degree welt. Whereas, a Blake stitch does not go all the way around. It is a 3/4 stitch around the sole. So he wasn't commenting that he did not know who Goodyear was...he was commenting on the irony, that a Goodyear sole, was put on using a 3/4 stitch instead of a full stitch. It is called irony...and it was quite the clever remark.
They didnt even look bad! Ive been buying a new pair every year as i wear them until i get holes in them.. never accured to me to get them resoled🤦🏻♂️
I have these shoes in red and may need this service soon. Glad to know these are able to be re-soled. I didn’t know that.

Keep up the great work! Will be sending you shoes sometime in 2022!!! Cheers!!! 🍻
Low key irony - Blake stitching a sole that says Goodyear on it 😁
Goodyear is a well known, reputable American brand that produces tires and rubber based products.

How much does this cost vs purchase?
Red one goes on left foot, green on right.
Do you resole stitch down boots?
How are you going to call a shoe "maritime" and have cardboard in it? 🤣
