@@kateshiori6093good money and very fun especially walking on beems on buildings being built it just looks so cool over all when buildings are finished and you can just see beams and frames
I think it was a really great thought of the creator to essentially suggest lore that all LEGO buildings have Technic bricks and axles built inside the walls for support! Very nice touch, I'd say!
Really nice set. As someone who works on real sites like this, I’m impressed with the fact that the crane is tied into the structure of the building, something very much from the real world. Nice attention to detail
Very cool. You could say that the dark gray tiles for the sidewalk of the construction site is wet cement. Because wet cement is always darker than dry cement.
Idea for the dark “concrete” tiles. Make it into wet concrete. Make the area “dry”(lighter grey) where the entrance is but keep the rest as is. Maybe add more barricades for the “wet concrete”
Really great build, I think it's an older buildling that is being modernised and added to maintaining the original facade. A heritage listed building perhaps. The sort of thing you would see in an established city. Love it.
I really do like this set having construction going on in the city, just makes it look alive. If you’re really nice to see something like this construction style continued into the building, the city may be a few houses under construction.
You could put it next to an empty lot that the Up house vacated. That's how it went in the film anyways, could be a cool. Anyways, thanks again for sharing!
Sore really nice build techniques and the level of detail is fsr more than I was expecting. All this has made me do is want it even more 😂 brilliant video as always made super detailed. Thank you
I got all 5 of the Bricklink sets but due to time and space they are sitting on shelves....getting all my build satisfaction vicariously lol, so thanks. good stuff man, well done
It's obvious you had a lot of fun building your Construction Set, Jordan. 😎 I was smiling eht entire time when I was hanging out with you. Outstanding review, my friend. 🥰 💯🤗 The entire crew went out for beers after having their day described by you. 🍺🍻🍺 Best wishes to Josee', the Twins, and of course, your fur babies. 🍺🍻🍺 💜💙💜💙💜
for people like me who missed this set, i think it would be best to piece it out, because people are reselling it for crazy prices, and i love how this set looks, and its also unique. its the same baseplate size as Assembly Square (32x32+16x32) but its also a corner building. So i'll be busy piecing this set out after i get the pieces and build the modular fire brigade :)
This reminds of Toronto where they will gut historic buildings down to the facade and then build a new tower. So the first couple floors from the outside still look like an old building but then you have a 30 story glass tower going up.
the cement mixer mentioned at 10:34 was a very small legoset from a couple years ago with set number 5610. Pretty funny how they just put it in here :P
Amazing ! Can wait to see it placed in the city. You probably should extend the crane for two or three other levels. And i have the idea to put a support beam carried by the crane in the top of the street with a spiderman on the beam like in the final scene in Amazing Spiderman. Love you bye ! Can wait for the observatory too!
you could say that the dark grey tiles are like wet cement and put a little sign up, it would be a cool way to have a bit of variation in your already awesome city!
The crane arm seems to be built similar to the official crane of some years ago. The important difference is that both the arm and the vertical structure is more realistic on this version - the ladder are INSIDE the structure, for example. The building itself looks amazing. I actually wonder why we've never had an official more detailed construction site. It didn't need to be a modular. And the closest we had to it was actually a demolition site. Maybe designers have the fear that people wouldn't understand why the building would look unfinished in the end...
Yes, its kind of strange/disappointing that some of the best sets going are not actually being produced anymore, and the next ones wont ship until next year.
Awesome ..I have fair lot of Thea's parts to try attempt to build this once got time to start .I just need 9 of them yellow beam s got 1 and need them yellow Crain fram parts 😊.got few of thos black fence part
Really like the details on this one. I recently saw a MOC of a modular construction office shack might look good on the ground next to the construction site.
Hey Bricksie can you do a review of the T. rex breakout set and do more videos about the mansion Add a vending machine in the second floor near outside of movie theater
You could keep the dark gray tiles and put cones down indicating wet concrete? Throw in a concrete mixer vehicle right next to the site to sell the look!
You should inset the dark grey tile on the sidewalk, and then make a small cement mixer, where a construction worker is pouring in the light grey sidewalk that the rest of your city has
I have bought this set and love all the fun detail it has going on inside the building. It is sad most of those stages of construction can't be seen and enjoyed unless you open the building up. The one thing I did not like about the set was the design flaw in the tower crane. It isn't designed to stay together when lifting a load. You can see that the tower of the crane doesn't have a strong connection point when connecting to the mass and platform on top @ 11:53. I have tried to alter their design for a stronger crane, but this version doesn't have the right components to be a functional real crane. You shouldn't have to have that kind of a design flaw when paying few hundred dollars for such a wonderful set. Other than the crane issue, it is an amazing set that I think everyone would enjoy having in their own Lego City. Good Job Bricksie in showcasing this set!
maybe place it temporarily on the raised platform until you hava a better spot, on the raised platform it makes sence 'cause it would show that the raised platform is stil under construction
Really wanted this set but as I’m nowhere near ready to start my Lego city I just couldn’t justify it at the moment. Great watching the detailed review though.
When I heard of this set originally, I wanted it so bad, but I wasn't able to get it so right now I am working on a new moc to go in the spot I had planed for the construction site on the right side of my corner garage since I think that would be a good spot for that if I had gotten the set. The moc I am making will be a warehouse to work with the moving truck promo from February that I got.
Love this set, but didn’t know about the BrickLink program until well after these sold. Secondary market has these at nearly $700, which just isn’t worth it.
You should try and get your hands on the Lego steam roller from the Lego magazines. I got one at my local Walmart 3 days ago and it is one if the best builds that I've ever gotten from a Lego magazine
I also picked up the Lego City magazine, plus the Jurassic World and Ninjago magazines. I was surprised to see them at Walmart as I thought they were only available in Europe.

Being a guy in construction, this is a must have set
Nothing says, “I love my job.” Like having toys about your job displayed in your home/place of work.

I remember supporting this set on Lego Ideas back in 2016, glad it finally got made.

😊
Or asphalt
No it's too close to the building.
@@mordechaitaub3594 sometimes in construction sites while constructing they dig the area around the building
I’m thinking he could tape it off or put a barrier too

You should keep some of the dark bluish grey on the sidewalk in your city as wet concrete!
I really do like this set having construction going on in the city, just makes it look alive. If you’re really nice to see something like this construction style continued into the building, the city may be a few houses under construction.
It's going to look Beautiful in the City
To me, this will go GREAT next to the Daily Bugle.
This set reminds me of my days as a highrise plumber/pipefitter years ago in Calgary! Cheers from my current home near San Francisco! 🍷
You could put it next to an empty lot that the Up house vacated. That's how it went in the film anyways, could be a cool. Anyways, thanks again for sharing!
You should do a video on how people can buy those sets from bricklink.
I think that's one of my favorite lego sets. Very cool design and function for a city. Adds a lot of life.
One of the best builds I’ve ever experienced. Really rewarding and realistic.
Let’s get jordan to 1 million subs let’s go people ❤️
This set is a must have . Love the review

I am so excited for this build I want it so bad. Anyway now to watch the video
In like this set a lot and look forward to see where you will place it in the city. Keep Brickin.
That staircase is a total OSHA violation!!!
Awesome looking crane. Great video build

The best builder I’ve seen. Compelling listing to your talk through.

An amazing set love the crain design and function. Great episode bricksie
Hey bricksie u could place the construction site in the pop culture Street and recreate the og spiderman scene with the goblin and Mary Jane
A really lovely set. Can you imagine what 2 of these would look like?. Someone has to do it, Bricksie?.
Man, this set really makes me wanna find back my old 7905 set.
The detail is amazing . Love it .
That is so true
Hi Bricksie, Awesome review 👍👍
If only the bricklink designer program was faster in production or had more units available!
Yes, its kind of strange/disappointing that some of the best sets going are not actually being produced anymore, and the next ones wont ship until next year.
I like the look of the crane.
awesome video jordan this set looks amazing great job
you should add spiderman swinging on the set
Yes!!!

Looks great! mine arrived last week and the only thing I'm not looking forward to is the digital instructions, as I've never had to do that before.
I love that set
this thing is an art bro
Really like the details on this one. I recently saw a MOC of a modular construction office shack might look good on the ground next to the construction site.
The shield is supposed to be trowel. I really appreciate your content!
Super cool.. I wish they sold more so I could have gotten one
YOU SHOULD USE THE DARK GREY TILES AS WET CEMENT
sorry for all caps

loved this set, loved the video!
This reminds me of the fight scene between the Batman and joker in the 2008 Batman where they fought on the unfinished building
Looks a great build looking forward to the train station

This was my favorite round 3 set. I'm glad I bought it last year but I regret not getting the observatory
Idea for the sidewalk it could be wet sement since sement is darker grey and since its a construction site
Mysterio and spider man goes good with the crane it's a reference to far from home when he pulls the crane over
definitely should add more construction minifigs or build some more things around the building
Nice build!

Thank you for the detailed review. Good to know snobs like Tiago Catarino who scoff on Bricklink sets just live in their own bubble
What a great set i love it
This is fantastic ❤
pretty awesome
The dark gray tiles could just be wet cement, if you don't want to change them.
maybe place it temporarily on the raised platform until you hava a better spot, on the raised platform it makes sence 'cause it would show that the raised platform is stil under construction
Looks great, definitely increase the tower crane height though.
I wish u could have this awesome stuff 😢
Bricksie if you could design your own lego set what would it be and why?
You could always put it on the raised platform so all of it could be seen.
Really wanted this set but as I’m nowhere near ready to start my Lego city I just couldn’t justify it at the moment. Great watching the detailed review though.

I think that construction site would be a perfect battle ground for Spider Man and his Avenger friends
i really wish these weren’t so limited
When you were building this were you singing "everything is awesome"?
Love it! ❤️
I did not get this one, but only the box already is huge!
Love this set, but didn’t know about the BrickLink program until well after these sold. Secondary market has these at nearly $700, which just isn’t worth it.
It looks great but the tile floor reminds me of a traditionelle Hästens bed design 😊
Nice 👍
dont switch the dark grey as its still wet cement which why its dark and railed off

Thanks. My Walmart also had the Lego Creator magazine, but I wasn’t really interested in that one.
I think increasing the crane height is a great idea
😂 Maybe you should put someone in the porta potty for “fun”! 😂
You need to swap the light and dark grey tiles on the sidewalk
