We've already taken care of that. There is a second locating pin for the middle pole set which helps it sit correctly on a stretcher (not shown in video).
Love the idea behind these and the double looks like the right size. Problem I'm finding is having a swag that fits hubby and I plus two young kids ( that of course sleep sideways) wonder if the shelf could almost become a bunk in some way?. Young kids it's not safe to have them in there own swag and we don't want to have to break out the big tent if we're only stopping for a night. Love to here ideas on how others manage. My eldest is 4, youngest currently 3 months ( not that that stops us)
I don't think the shelf for a kid to sleep would work. If I was in your position I'd look at our new Igloo swag to sleep Mum and the two kids and a seperate swag for Dad: www.kulkyne.com.au/igloo-air-pole-swag.html. You could potentially sleep the four of you in this for a while if needed.
Love the look of the Mega Swag thinking of ordering it with a stretcher seen it through Cam from wild touring how much would be to buy the both and shipping it to Pakenham Victoria thats the king single 950
Just asked my wife to get me one for my birthday, your stuff is always impressive so Im looking forward to trying this out in the Vic high country soon, I'm hoping the shelf is a winter game changer.
@@KulkyneKampers Hey mate just got the swag and thank you for the great customer service with my wife. First impressions exceed my expectations, I was expecting quality but even still I'm impressed with how everything looks and feels. And the space for a 950 swag is excellent I'm only 5'10 and could easily share it with my wife if needed, can't wait to give it a run next weekend out in the bush.
Looks really good mate, nice design, that shelf is great! Jumped on your website and price seem really fair, I just grabbed a Malle swag, haven’t used it yet, might need to give it to the kids and get one of these!
Pretty much the same as a normal swag. Length packed up will be the width of the swag set up, diameter will depend on which mattress option you choose.
The PVC base is hot sealed so no stitching. It is a proper canvas so no need for seam taping, usually this is just done on light or lower quality canvas or nylon.
@@KulkyneKampers it’s for a crashpad swap but I noticed it’s very similar to your army style swag. I feel bad asking considering it’s not for your swag but I’m hoping you can help. Thank you
Currently have a Big Boy with stretcher. If I purchased a Mega XL, would my existing stretcher and mattress work? Looks like the dimensions are similar, with the Mega XL being 5cm longer. Central poles wouldn't have a place to slot in I guess.
Hi Daniel, the MEGA XL King Single is designed to fit perfectly on the Big Boy stretcher! It's not in the video but the MEGA swags when they come out will have two locating rings for the centre loop which will make it sit right on the stretcher. The swag comes with a mattress but if you have the deluxe mattress you can change them over.
@@KulkyneKampers Great, thanks! Love the Big Boy but the shelf in the Mega would be really handy, the only complaint I'd have about the Big Boy is the lack of storage. Might work as a decent place to put a laptop for media playback as well if it can hold the weight.
Ok mate, let me start by saying it’s brilliant and some excellent innovation there with the shelf! Love the big door and the big fly above it. I do think though have two doors on all the sizes gives customers more options when being used. Having a door in one side only could cause issues for customers. There may be some scenario in the field where you need the door on the others side of the smaller Swag. The opening at the head could be bigger too, just gives more options for users. Finally the cover over the window at feet would be better if it was bigger and came down lower Brilliant start though ✅👏🙌😁
Firstly let me say i own 3 Kulkyne swags and really happy with the quality and service. I really like the new features of this new swag. The 3 pole design and large access is great. I currently have the big boy swag and would consider giving that to one of my boys and upgrading to this. The shelf is such a simple yet great idea and i am sure will come in useful. If nothing else it will solve the age old problem of where to store phone, keys, etc and being able to quickly access that area from the outside will be useful. The dimensions and configuration of this swag is very similar to a swag my wife owns, but this swag is australian made, 10cm longer and 3cm higher which means its the roomiest XL swag i have seen on the market. Great for us big blokes. It is also better value for money. The head end mesh window does however seem a little small and not taking full advantage of the available space. Will this swag also have the seperate straps with plastic buckles? I have broken 2 of these on my swags with very little use and would like to see steel rings at this price point or at least the option to upgrade the straps just like you can do with the mattress. Any chance this swag will have an integrated carry handle so once it is rolled up you have an easy way to pick it up. Or will we continue to bear hug our kulkyne swags or buy the carry bag (which lets be honest are not the best quality). Overall i think this swag should do very well.
It's the same footprint as our normal king single at 210 x 95 cms. The MEGA is about 20cms higher at the head end of the swag. Rolls up to basically the same size as the dome king single, maybe just a couple of centimetres of extra diameter.
What a great idea , I like your new design mate .
thanks mate!
This swag looks sooo good. Congratulations. Hope it’s a success
Thanks Roger!
Looks great, maybe need to accommodate centre pole support on the stretcher.

Gday mate.
Any chance you have the packed dimensions of the 1100 and 1500 options.
Looking to up grade and there look great!

thanks mate, sounds like a plan!
What size does the double roll up to after using it, not from the factory?
Pretty much the same as a normal swag. Length packed up will be the width of the swag set up, diameter will depend on which mattress option you choose.
Awesome looking swag I’ll probably get one, are this seems taped?

Looks great ! The price and availability in USA ?
Thanks. There is a US shipping option in our shopping cart for international freight: www.kulkyne.com.au/swags/Mega-Swags
Hey mate do use sell the replacement spring pole at the feet flap 👍🏼
Depending on length? Is it for our swag or another?
@@KulkyneKampers it’s for a crashpad swap but I noticed it’s very similar to your army style swag. I feel bad asking considering it’s not for your swag but I’m hoping you can help. Thank you
You'd be best to measure the length of the poles so I can check for you?
Would this be ok to set up on a single cab hilux alloy tray, I love the idea of a swag particularly the ventilation.
Depends on the length of the tray. The MEGA-950 is more likely to fit than the MEGA-1100
how much bigger is the 100 mm mattress vs the 70 rolled up?
about 40cm compared to 35 cm diameter.
Is this manufactured in Australia 🇦🇺 or overseas? Your swags are very 👍. Do you guys ship to the states?
Hi mate, our factory is overseas. There is a shipping option in our shopping cart to ship to the US.
How much ? And available in stock? Which stretcher matched to double size?
Yes the XL MEGA Swag matches our XL Double stretcher. Please have a look at this link for pricing: www.kulkyne.com.au/XL-Double-Swag-MEGA.html

we reckon 3kgs without sagging the supporting poles too much so you should be able to make it work. Never thought of it as a TV shelf : )
