Our MEGA SWAGS are the new Rolls Royce of the swag market (Registered Design)! At first glance you might think there are other similar swags, but take a closer look! Here's the main differences: Non-symetrical three pole system Most three pole swags have the middle pole in the middle! Sounds logical right? The problem is these symetrical swags leave you little room to swing your legs in and out...

Love the look of the Mega Swag thinking of ordering it with a stretcher seen it through Cam from wild touring how much would be to buy the both and shipping it to Pakenham Victoria thats the king single 950
What kind of price? Both? What kind of canvas?
Gday mate. Any chance you have the packed dimensions of the 1100 and 1500 options. Looking to up grade and there look great!
how much bigger is the 100 mm mattress vs the 70 rolled up?
about 40cm compared to 35 cm diameter.
Any mat under 70mm is a no go for me. What materials ? What are the interior dimensions ? You skipped over the set up and didn't show the take down and putting back in it's bag. That's a big deal. Useless video.
Is this swag super water proof? Or would you suggest throwing a tarp over the top just in case?
It is waterproof mate, no need for a tarp.
Way too heavy. Bring it down to sub 2kg, and then it will be a useful motorcycle camping option.
Dropped wingnut in long grass.. no, not for me.
The way old mate uses the laundry spray you can tell he's got more than a little experience with a paint gun, lol.
ha ha
I've got the blue version of this tent. Great tent. I bought a Darche A-frame as you didn't offer that at the time of purchase. I like this new colour better too, spewing you didn't have it at the time. May I just make a suggestion for the carry bag. It needs a zip at the top of the bag. The current version keeps the bag half open tbh. Just to add another cost saving option, there is no need for two hoops to keep the window shades in place, one in the middle of the window would do the job just as good. Cheers!
Hey mate, thanks for the feedback! We actually have upgraded the carry bag too with the new smaller packed up size to have a zip so it's sealed up. Brett
That folding roof frame is very clever - it mitigates one of the few downsides of this style of tent; the packed size. What is the packed size ? Also noted the ‘pad’ on the bottom of the pole to help stop it sinking in the floor if you have setup on soft ground Nb like the new colour Cheers
Hey mate! Packed size is about 93 x 16 x 50, the bag is 93 x 16 x 63 (room for the poles). Brett
Side poles looks like a winner, the centre pole in touring tents has always been a deal breaker for me.
Yes, it's a so much more usable tent with the side pole kit!!
7cm mattres my ass it's less then 5cm .
Nice idea but setup/pack away does seem cumbersome, especially if moving campsite each day. Wondering if you could use a simpler tensioning system with ratchet straps rather than turnbuckles?
Tried that, it had its issues too. The turnbuckles aren't too bad.
The design of the middle pole being closer to the foot makes a lot of sense. Most 3 pole dome swags are a bugger to get in and out of.
Yep!
Do you offer this mattress in your other swags? I'm looking at the 1.5 but would like a smaller pack up size.
Not at this stage sorry mate.
Wow...as an exisiting king single swag, I am indeed impressed. Very innovative. I keep recommending Kulkyne swags to my 4WD mates, and this will make not even easier to do so.
Thanks Denis!
I've got a king single swag from you - which I love. The foam inside has started to go, is it possible to just buy the hybrid mattress here?
Sorry mate, we don't have it as a seperate item at this stage. Brett
how much does it weigh?
Love your innovation mate, I reckon I have convinced at least 3 people to get a Mega Swag as their next purchase.🥳
Thanks Albert, appreciate your support mate!
What size does the double roll up to after using it, not from the factory?
Pretty much the same as a normal swag. Length packed up will be the width of the swag set up, diameter will depend on which mattress option you choose.
Looks like a mountains design duck down bag. I have one of those. Will it roll up with that in it?
Hey mate, you'll fit a sleeping bag inside the swag carry bag if it's 1.2kgs or less. If it's a bit bigger you can put it in the accessory bag that comes with the biker swag.
Looks pretty good, but just wondering if yous also look at doing an Original Traditional swag sometime in the future.
The closest we'd have is this: www.kulkyne.com.au/traditional-swag.html
@@KulkyneKampers Thanks
Who supplies the stretcher, what brand?
It's our own!
How much?
Price and freight cost on this link mate: www.kulkyne.com.au/biker-swag.html
It would be great to get a stretcher that’s only half height that doesn’t way a ton but still off the ground and doesn’t way a heap. Then it’s perfect
Woow!! I would like to have this swag for my motorcycle adventure trips a couple of years ago. It’s simply great.
This swag looks sooo good. Congratulations. Hope it’s a success
Thanks Roger!
G'day, You said you invested in a hot sealer for the corners. Are they made in Australia?
No mate our factory is overseas, too expensive to make anything here!
Nice song.
Great design guys 👍
This swag looks so nice. I wish another video showing more detail about the doors and windows zippers and operation, materials used, vision of the swag from inside… How tall the mattress is once inflated and how it looks with the cover closed, how to inflate it. Also the cover looks like has soft top, would like to see it more detailed.
Noted!
Love the idea, but the whole reason I brought a swag was to save time
YEah, not understanding the concept. Can you show each of the points that are written on the website?
Do the poles match the stretcher holes, and the sleeping bags etc from the full price range?
Stretchers and sleeping bags match the Kulkyne swags perfectly, but the Mallee are ok without being an exact fit.
Does the Malle fit the stretcher holes?
No mate, the stretchers are made for the Kulkyne swags. The Mallee will fit on top fine, but doesn't match the holes.
Does the Dune big daddy Duluth swag fit on
Yes will sit on top of the stretcher fine, but their end poles won't match the holes in the end bars of our stretcher.
I had mine for over a month it took me over 2 hours to put together and still no joy
The double stretcher? There's a set up video on this channel and you can give me a call if you're still having trouble. Numbers on our website, should take about 7 minutes.
Does it connect directly to the stretcher
Yes connects directly to our Kulkyne stretchers.
thanks for the video. Bit out of my price range but i'll circle around back to you guys on my next swag purchase :)
Is this manufactured in Australia 🇦🇺 or overseas? Your swags are very 👍. Do you guys ship to the states?
Hi mate, our factory is overseas. There is a shipping option in our shopping cart to ship to the US.
Would this be ok to set up on a single cab hilux alloy tray, I love the idea of a swag particularly the ventilation.
Depends on the length of the tray. The MEGA-950 is more likely to fit than the MEGA-1100
Theres a lot of hype and excitment around the new range of air tube swags. Given the setup time for the stretcher is longer than some because its made so robustly, would an air tube queen swag be a good idea to put on the stretcher ?
Hi mate, I'd recommend out alloy pole swags as they are designed to match specifically to our stretchers. They are almost as quick and easy as air poles anyway, and the finished set up is much better given the connection points.
Wow, I think this is my leading contender for my mountain bike expedition. 👏
Nice! But I wish you showed more of the inside & how the side windows work....what direction do they zip etc.
So a normal weave canvas is better than ripstop for water ingress? If so, that’s good to know.
Certainly through my testing at this price point of swag/canvas the plain has been far superior in water proofing to the ripstop. The ripstop leaks at the point the ripstop stitching crosses.
Thanks for replying & good to know! I see you’re coming up with some good designs for your swags. 👏
Hey Brett, have done a load of research - yes especially RUclips but also at some of the competition in the major camping outlets and I’ve taken the plunge for your full Mega 1100 setup, basically sight unseen in terms of physical quality. This is my first ever swag but I’m very satisfied with the few online reviews and comments I can find vs. the major brands and their good / bad points. I can’t wait to get it, season it and try it out. 😊 I’ll be travelling with my pet pup down the East Coast from QLD to VIC, in November, and am excited to be using this setup - I really appreciate the clear attention to detail and thoughtfulness you have taken in your innovative product design and iterations - it may look similar but this is such a well thought out tuning for these style of swags it deserves to be getting great recognition going forward. I’m planning on trying to season using a soak in a bath, as per some other RUclips guides - would you foresee any issue in doing this for the Kulkyne? I can’t think of any reason myself. Also - do you have a specific fly option for the Mega - or would one of your existing flys be suitable? Just need to talk the Minister for Fun & Finances to approve a potential Kulkyne grab bag and I’ll be all set! Cheers!
Thanks for the great feedback mate, you won't be disappointed on the quality! You're welcome to give me a call on 0428833659 to discuss fly and seasoning.
So, the 1.3 is like a twin bed?
We have stretchers in 1.3 and 1.5 wide. The 1.3 is suitable for slimmer couples or large guys who just want to spread out.
Love the idea behind these and the double looks like the right size. Problem I'm finding is having a swag that fits hubby and I plus two young kids ( that of course sleep sideways) wonder if the shelf could almost become a bunk in some way?. Young kids it's not safe to have them in there own swag and we don't want to have to break out the big tent if we're only stopping for a night. Love to here ideas on how others manage. My eldest is 4, youngest currently 3 months ( not that that stops us)
I don't think the shelf for a kid to sleep would work. If I was in your position I'd look at our new Igloo swag to sleep Mum and the two kids and a seperate swag for Dad: www.kulkyne.com.au/igloo-air-pole-swag.html. You could potentially sleep the four of you in this for a while if needed.
Thanks for this. I like the idea of being off the ground incase of rain and a stretcher is more comfy than an inflatable mattress, but struggled to find one for the Kings Deluxe. Will get one soon. Cheers.
