Well thought out! Definitely a challenge to make this size and not turn into a hammock. I have a a Burke and Wills double have had for years, now FINALLY someone makes a it can set on but also appears would support a big fella like myself. Assume because I am a big dude would be wise to use the turnbuckles. Would use by myself. Thanks so much!
Hi Paul, the turnbuckles and tension strap are to stop a couple from rolling in towards each other. Even if you are a big guy you shouldn't need the turnbuckle set.
Yup too complicated for me.......great concept, but too many separate parts - leg extensions, turn buckles, leg braces all need installing. May as well put up a tent.
Glad you guys are not hiding any comments, yes it looks like it would take a bit to setup, but the price is small imo. would rather setup this then a tent like some of the comments made, set it up a few times and it would take no longer then 5 minutes i recon. How long do you expect the Velcro to last is the bush with the tension across them add a little dirt some twigs ect ?
I don't think the velcro will be an issue at all mate. Just a little bit of care not to drag it through the dirt too much, but its a big velcro area, which shares the stress over a large area( If you set it up properly the velcro won't ever be on the ground). 5 minute set up with a bit of experience is about right. Brett
Adam Abello Gets quicker each time you set it up. Bloody comfy and yep takes longer than just chucking your swag on the ground but heaps easier to get in an out. Summertime gets you off the hot ground too
@@v8s01 There is some stabiliser braces in the corners that help but there is still a little movement when you roll over. It hasn’t been enough to bother me but I only use it by myself.
Theres a lot of hype and excitment around the new range of air tube swags. Given the setup time for the stretcher is longer than some because its made so robustly, would an air tube queen swag be a good idea to put on the stretcher ?
Hi mate, I'd recommend out alloy pole swags as they are designed to match specifically to our stretchers. They are almost as quick and easy as air poles anyway, and the finished set up is much better given the connection points.
Nice idea but setup/pack away does seem cumbersome, especially if moving campsite each day. Wondering if you could use a simpler tensioning system with ratchet straps rather than turnbuckles?
So it is alot of set up but when I camp it's usually for a few days and it will be worth it for the fact that there's no centre bar. Few questions though, I couldn't find the turnbuckles on the website, where do I get them from? I'm not interested in the swag, are the feet soft enough that they won't poke holes in the bottom of my tent? And the exposed bolts on the top, are they sharp? I want to put a $750 camp mattress on top and I would be quite upset if the stretcher poked a hole in it.
A great idea and a pity they weren't available earlier. For those of us who have the bar to contend with, how do we get this new set-up and at what price? I think the extra time is well worth the effort.....
Yeah it does fit ok but I made some adapters from RHS that slip over the end bars with holes that the end poles fit into. Works without them but the poles just hang a little lower than normal
Sorry to say that the setup time for this product is excessively long. A cheap family tent could be setup In the same time, I certainly wouldn’t be spending that long just to setup a bed.
Got the tracking number today! Hanging for this stretcher, and the Mega in August! Thanks Guys! 😎😎🐶
Thanks for your support Brett!!!!
very well thought out and orgnised video of a great looking product
Love our stretcher and swag. Easy to set up and pack down.

How good is this , would love one shared to twitter and facebook
So awesome guys!!! Can’t wait for mine to turn up!!!
Ordered mine today I’m so pumped for when it arrives. Such a cool product I can’t wait to use it with my swag
Update?

As well frame no covered by warranty, lol
Awesome design, I can’t wait to get mine and master the setup. Top work 😊👌
Just got mine and it is a task to set up. Need to get it set up before the beers as i can see myself sleeping on the ground.
It gets easier as you get used to it mate, if you have any question please call me on 0428833659. Brett

Great product mate 👍 Good for people who set up camp for a couple of days etc
Good video, nice and clear on how to set up the double stretcher and swag.

Tried that, it had its issues too. The turnbuckles aren't too bad.

Nice product but....
after all that I would have liked to have seen the rain fly attached for the complete set up!
How heavy is the stretcher and how big are the carry bags?
Trying to win a swag. Looks like an amazing product i would love!!!
Lol, for that time I can assembly my big tent and fall asleep already xD

Hi Ronald, please give us a call to discuss www.kulkyne.com.au
Does the Dune big daddy Duluth swag fit on
Yes will sit on top of the stretcher fine, but their end poles won't match the holes in the end bars of our stretcher.
I'm from Texas, United States and am interested in purchasing. Do you all take paypal?
Yes, there is a PayPal option in our shopping cart.
Hey does it work with big daddy deluxe kings swag?
Yeah it does fit ok but I made some adapters from RHS that slip over the end bars with holes that the end poles fit into. Works without them but the poles just hang a little lower than normal
Does the Dune deluxe swag fit this
If it's Anaconda's double size swag then it will fit on top fine. We have done a video on this specific swag: ruclips.net/video/LXkc5RpZuZk/видео.html
What size turn buckles
Assuming this would be compatible with any other freestanding double swag with 1400x2000 (approx) measurements?
Other swags won't lock into the stretcher like our swag does, but will sit on top ok.
Made some adapters for my big daddy poles to slot into and works fine
@@miket2304 Can you show a photo of your adapter set? Have bought this stretcher to fit BDDS.
@@IanCowling happy to do that just not sure how to attach a photo mate?
Love the idea, but the whole reason I brought a swag was to save time

You still need to set up a bed inside a tent after you set it up.
Dropped wingnut in long grass.. no, not for me.
Very poor design quality! not real impressed. Have a brand new one for sale in tassie for half price! Only been set up once never used!
