Heyyyy lovelies, My Ocean videos start tonight and I wanted to share an extra video with you beforehand to show you the incredible world of Nail Foils that we can use with Resin. Fully inspired by Sharon Lindley here on You Tube, Nail Foils in Resin is a new concept for me and I ran to Amazon to place a huge Nail Foil Art haul. I have a lot to learn about how Nail Foils work in resin fully but tonight's video will be my first Ocean themed video of the summer using these ocean nail art pieces.

Talk about nail stuff and I’ve got bins full. I mean bins and suitcases specifically for nail polish. Was setting up my own nail shop then Covid hit. Hahaha. I have every color imaginable. Stencils galore. ❤ this video. So many uses for nails and resin design.

Very cool - I have been collecting them for a while for polymer clay. The foils I have been sorting and storing in themes as one gets so much with most packages, it has made it easier to hunt for the right one in one's stash.

I have been using nail foils, stickers and bits in my resin jewellery. Wonderful finds since I started shopping on a certain newer website.
I've used nail art and general transfer foils for awhile in Resin, and I 💜 the possibilities! Ooh, that Lace though ... Gotta have!
I like to use these on edges, reliefs, etc to add some 'je ne sais quoi' to items. I apply the Glue that stays sticky after drying, then transfer away for a random result! 😊

Some people have like LONG acrylic nails. I've seen some check out at Walmart use their knuckles on keypads to "type" stuff. Don't know how they don't stab themselves! But yeah. Gorgeous nail art . 😛
Hi Claire! Nice haul ❤ As a nail tech who uses foils frequently here’s my tips. Sticky is your friend. The gel in the bottle will leave a VERY sticky surface when cured, allowing the design to transfer. However, if your gel is thin in areas or there are grooves in the gel, it will show in the transfer. Use a silicone tool to bray the surface for a nice clean look. I have cured this with UV resin after using transfer gel but I would be curious to see how it hold up with the heat spike from a traditional curing resin. Have so much fun and can’t wait to see what you create.
Claire, I bought some nail art from Temu, and I have no idea how to use it. I can't wait to see you make things with this haul!❤ I did put some flowers on pendants I made with eco pour. ❤
Nail art is fun, I notice the price was significantly less too❤
i use nail foils in my resin and wood art all the time. my absolute favorite thing to use especially over resin mistakes. let your resin piece completely cure first,add a very very thin coat of uv resin or uv nail gel (which is better)and gently place the foil over top,tap lightly until u see all the resin moves to the edges then cure under lamp or the sun about 5 mins and then peel the foil off. they work great on wood blanks or polymer clay. they are great for covering up mistakes. good luck

Hi Claire, I'm a beginner with the nail foils as well. I used the guilding glue. I put two layers of it on just like when using guilding glue. It does take a while to dry in between, which tries my patience terribly! ❤❤💕
Your excitement is infectious! I have some nail foils for non-nail uses, they work great in card making and polymer clay, too. I may or may not be expecting some more right now - it's great that you can buy multiple styles instead of one huge roll of one kind.
Be interesting to see how you get on I've used them but admit very hit and miss 😅

I've been using those components for years in my resin. Abalone shell is not expensive at all and I use it for making tiny mosaic pendants (Saw many Japanese resin artists doing this).
Ohhhhh I have always found Abalone shells so expensive ... like £10 for a few g lol but this was way less for way more ... where do you get your Abalone shell from ???
