I just bought a super bay Rey and had a traxxas udr modded out and I think the stock super bay Rey is so much tougher and more fun over all being bigger🔥👍🏻
You are so right. My SBR only has shock oil changes and 0* rear toe and its faster, quicker, handles better, jumps better than the UDR by leaps and bounds. Its never broken anything but my UDR breaks something every time it goes out and now has over $1000 in Vitavon mods. I bought the UDR first because it was suggested to me. You just dont realize how good the SBR is till you have messed with a UDR lol
That zero toe change makes it handle really nice IMHO. Put heavier oil in the shocks and you are good! I had those and 2 others and they all broke right away. Got the metal version and no issues at all and I am MEAN to my SBR lol Also, its not a stunt truck and the UDR much less so.
I bought mine during the fathers day sale for $200 off. It's a beast in it's own way. I feel it's tougher than my buddies UDR. I can say for sure yhat trying to pull a backflip with it has never crossed my mind. Inertia is a real thing. No ways those small tires rotate that heavy truck. Leave flips for the bashers.
So you learned a few things today😂😂. The truck is too heavy for sending to the moon especially when the ramp is so steep, and carbon is very brittle and breaks easily on these cars. Just accept that it's not a Kraton and drive it appropriately.
I’ve had 2 different types of braces on my SBR and both have broken in a short amount of time! Not even bad roll overs or tumbles … Fairly disappointed but i get it that something has to give! I would think someone would make braces out of something slightly more flexible but yet retain some rigidity for support! Or something much thicker to withstand impact?
If u drill a hole in the b-pillar, lining it up with the screw that holds the cage to the rear shock tower, u can take the entire cage / body off with only 10 screws
@@nocontrolrc8290 it's great .....until it gets worn in and or if u add more power. I love mine, but I'm scared to take it out cuzz I break it almost every time. Usually something in the diffs . Good luck
More rear Toe gives you more Forward traction, and it give the truck More traction in the rear in corners.. So No Rc Ive ever races had zero rear toe usually 2.5 to 3 degrees depending how loose the conditions.. But Zero wont help the truck perform...
A little back story to this. When we got this we took it out and did a quick review immediately. Then we were like we have to drive this right now!!!. As we were driving it it was handling bad and we noticed it was dog tracking a bit an we could see the rear tires weren't equal. So it had the 0 degree ones in there so we said screw it and slammed them in. From the factory one if the stock obes was either in wrong or made wrong so we kinda just did what we did cuz it's what we had. End result a lit of fun and if you keep it in grass it still gets more then enough forward bite. She's a little loose in dirt with the 0 degree but still super fun and at the end of the day that's what were all looking for!!! Thanks for watching

I don't own one yet , the Traxxas max slash got in the way , DANGIT ! First off , those are a must upgrade , but the spare tires gotta go , to make much weight for bashing I'm thinking , good video , thanx !
It makes the rear end a bit light. I'm guessing u could tune it to remedy that issue. But it seems if u hit any jump too fast , with or without the spare tires it wants to kick the rear up alot.
That rigs huge. Crazy it can wip around as fast as it does. Down the dirt road an trail it did look killer. Did it whack the camera too by accident? Awesome footage
Yeah it gotta be stated, this vehicle is designed for racing and general surface runs, not ramp bashing. The footage is embarrassing lol. Watching yall trying to launch that heavy ass scale truck and watching it land on its side constantly 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 yall must be in Canada, or somewhere in New England. I give this review 2 out of 10. Man, this is going to be a entertaining RC channel lmao.

LOL. Thu UDR and BajaRay are scale desert racers. Designed for keeping wheels on the ground. Get a basher to bash.

Just bought the carbon fiber rear supports, kinda expect to hear a snap on the first landing but will try and stay optimistic lol
Can you share the website from where you bought them?

How would it handle without the 2 spare tires on the back?
That's a good question. I Think we need to try that out as soon as I fix the sloppy end link in the rear

Hit a couple of them on accident.
just ordered mine today... gonna need those braces
Do you know if they changed the design since your version? or do i have to buy those braces
@gewglesux font think they have made any upgrades to this truck. Usually it would be listed as a 3.0 if Losi did Improvements to it
