Sometimes they have a slight curve if you have bigger fingers because of the slight fat there, the flat back is usually for people with skinny hands isn't it?
I love how easily I can understand it, the fact it has CCs, and that it has examples, because often I get confused by things and its hard for me to keep up with people who talk fast, plus examples help me better understand. Maybe this is just me or it applies to everyone-- either way, thank you!
Girl I freaking love you, you know why? It's because not only you teach us how to draw hands you also teach us different types of hand poses and age of the hand if you guys agree with me 👇
I think I'm just gonna binge watch your vids and wait for the information to soak into my brain instead of practicing. That sounds logical. Amazing tutorial, will definitely help me cause I don't actually know any techniques.
Whenever I need help with drawing something I immediately go to your channel lol. This video helped a lot since I’m not drawing little cat nubs like I normally do
2:50 You missed a bean of the thumb. Actually thumb is 3 beans (1st is mostly part of flat hand but not all), the second starts more to the left. ;) But really great tut. Nice. :)
This is a really Detailed and Great Guide, and if I ever think about Drawing Comics I’ll rewatch this video and your Guide to making Comics! 64.5K Subs, to 64.5K + 1 Subs! Edit: Also, the Mountain demonstration’s (1:22) hands look like they were in “Ocarina Of Time”.
The bean method really saved my life You have no idea how many videos I went through to find one that suited me and I was comfortable with What a life saver!
With enough tries on one perspective, it will become easier with how many times you draw these hands in different perspectives in alot of ways like bending etc. It worked for me, thanks! At first, I made alot of mistakes but time by time, I finally understand everything. Thank you for this tutorial!
Hi I'm doing origami while watching ur tuts and vids it really helps for me because I'm a beginner artist so this really helpful!! Thank you Very much for these videos.😊
This was so easy to learn! Thanks so much, I was already good at drawing hands but this helped me lay it out before I began drawing the actual hands. :)
Something that I do is I’ve memorized a squiggle for a resting to-the-side hand pose. If you figure out what you want that to look like with references, sketch it out, and then trace over the bottom fingers and thumb over and over. Then draw the palm (basically just a tapered rectangle with the shortest end pointing towards the head) and the squiggle representing the fingers and thumb. I’m the hand master now. Obviously if you want to do a more complex hand pose, this doesn’t work. You need to sketch out each finger. Keep in mind that if the hand isn’t the center piece of your drawing, you should simply it. A good example of this is how drawing every gap on a tooth looks creepy, unless you simply it substantially. Most artists figured this out quickly. Adding every wrinkle and knuckle on a little hand, (proportionally it’s a normal sized hand) it’s gonna look creepy, unless you simplify it. That’s just my method and once I learned it, it saved my life.
"Baby cat doesn't stop crying because it's anxious";yes, but even by now tone of the crying had changed, and was far less alarmed than initially. Lucky girl to be rescued!
a tip about nails! nail curves aren't always perfect on both sides, especially on longer natural nails! when my nails get long, the left side of my middle fingernail curves in more drastically than the right, or some people have a lot tighter curves the longer the nail gets
with the holding the book one I actually usually have my thumb and my pinky inside to hold the other page down as well so for me it'd be only the index middle and ring fingers visible
Literally every time I draw a person or monster I always struggle with the hands so I always make it in a way you can’t see the hands and now I know how to draw hands:)

For everyone with sausage fingers: Make the outer lines straight, because the back of your finger is not curved
Sometimes they have a slight curve if you have bigger fingers because of the slight fat there, the flat back is usually for people with skinny hands isn't it?
But I cant do STRAIGHT cuz im gay :((((

This is really great because it can be used for realism(which is what my art class teaches) or cartoonish(which is what I like to draw)
How to draw hands (for begginers)
Step one: **scream**
Step two: **cry**
Step three: **crying and screaming**
Step four: **finally draw perfect hands**
you forgot the "commit arson out of rage" step too
@@testchannelnamechangingsoo1160 yes that's the most important step
How TF did you get to step four???
But there are only 3 steps…
thx😊
This helped me a lot, I usually did the building technique. But the ''beans'' is a lot easier
I love how easily I can understand it, the fact it has CCs, and that it has examples, because often I get confused by things and its hard for me to keep up with people who talk fast, plus examples help me better understand. Maybe this is just me or it applies to everyone-- either way, thank you!

If you’re look at your own hand it might be just for you
@@angelraven5629 nope the first is just really short, if you straighten your thumb you might be able to see the small segment at the base of you thumb
Well I mean it still looks like a fumb soooo it still works?
@@Kieran_KIWI i’m sorry *’fumb’*
Bro the 2nd bean does not move so just call it 1 bean ok no one needs to much beans for the thumb
