@@TA07RRY Its a state-owned provider, Chery. Not sure they were in the UK but terrible back 10 years ago where they were just cars with tech and safety levels of a 25 year old car!
Sorry about that. We had limited time as this was the very first drive in UK! We showed you the spare wheel though! Thanks for the feedback and comment 🤗
From all the reviews i have watched on this car, it seems to be an excellent car. I would buy it if it was cheaper. Here in Spain it is over 30,000 euros. Which for me is too much.
So many beeps and bongs Chinese EVs are famous for this. This definitely copies the Nissan Qashqai, not sure how durable it is. We got it here in NZ and it has an annoying sensor above the wheel that watches your vision if you take your eyes off the road and start bonging. You can turn it off but it comes back on again every time you use the car. It needs software updates and you cant do over the air updates and has to be taken into the dealer. Charging speeds is slooow as for 2024.
Ah really that is annoying. Thanks for sharing the info Gareth. Great to hear what other people think about this car and the experiences they have with it. Thanks for chatting to us 🤗
Hi Gareth. That driver attention monitor sure is a tad annoying. The Speed limit assist is also one that needs to be turned off every time. As it's seeing the recommended corner speed signs, then telling you that's the speed limit. The emergency lane keeping is also quite intrusive on a typical twisty, NZ road. I'm selling these, and took one out for a real-world range test yesterday. You can only get the claimed 15.5kw/h per 100km at town speeds. At open road speeds, on hilly + twisty roads, it gets between 20-22kw/h per 100km. So the real-world range is more like 300-350kms on a full charge. Which is comparable to the Atto 3 with the same battery.... I left Frankton with 98%. Did a route south via SH3, SH4, and the SH41 to Turangi. Made it to Turangi with 20% charge. Took 35 minutes on a 75kW DC charger @ Z to get up to 80%. I then took SH1 south back home. Given it was more downhill + a lot more traffic, so the average speed was more like 70ish, the efficiency climbed to an average of 16.8kw/h per 100kms. I made it home with 25% charge remaining. It does handle rather well, and soaks up bumps nicely.
You can adjust the regen level by using voice commands
Awsome thanks for Sharing that 🤗
Nice to see a different manufacturer enter the market

Curious to know more about the OMODA E5's craziest feature
I mean the volume buttons on the digi dash to change volume on indicators was pretty crazy to us 😱

“There’s 100” when we can see the Speedo number starting with a “9”
Ok well this speed ring did allow us to hit 100. Sorry if the camera caught it on the way down 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for the comment 👍🏽
I wish it had the C5 grill on the front. It looks kinda blind without.
You won't get that wind noise with a petrol engine 🤣
😂😂😂 thanks for the comment
You mean you wont hear wind noise above the engine noise might be more accurate!!
Never heard of this 👀
lol not many people have.
OMG, an EV has a spare tyre, interesting
We definitely were surprised too! Thanks for the comment 🤗
