if you dont care about bucket head farming i've been using the vestige of Chabui, it's got a ton of enemies right outside and once their clear i just enter the underworld and proceed to farm there (as it gives you increased soul gain over time) until the timer hits the red, then i book it back to the spawn (he wont follow you in) and reset the farm and go again.
i would like to recommend farming the 3 Avowed mace dudes outside the first vestige after leaving skyrest bridge. they may not give 500 vigor each but they do drop regular deralium nuggets which you will need to upgrade your equipment. 2 birds 1 stone.
Here's another good farming spot If you get to the vestige of blind Agatha you can also farm the bucket head literally in front of the rest it's an easy 500ish vigor each time you kill him just don't forget to get rid of the barrier on him by using the lanter and again it's right next to the rest. Also if you go outside and turn right and the look down from the platform you can see a priest resting if you kill him you can lure out another bucket head that's hiding behind the ladder which you couldn't target before just use long range options before jumping down and you can safely get the vigor from them that's roughly 1300 vigor in total and you can return back to the vestige by simply climbing up the ladder the bucket head was hiding behind and make your way back on the planks it's quick and easy once you get a hang of it. The vestige Is also in the same area these guys are talking about halfway through the level so it's an early game grind spot which you can use.
@@scys3k That's fair I do think this is pretty easy though especially if you only want to kill the one bucket head using a weapon buff kills him in like 5 hits an dodging is pretty easy the 1200 stuff is mainly if you have good long range stuff currently using Latimers lance makes the grind super easy once you clear the next level so this can become a mid game grind spot quite easy as well at least in my opinion and you can probably get more souls if your willing to go into the umbral
@@tahliaforhonor6680 Oh really can't believe I never tried that always thought you had to be near by to pick up vigor thx that'll definitely save me a little more while grinding.
If you don't have a vestige seed or don't wanna replace one you have you can kinda replicate this with the vestige of blind Agatha Half the time the spike head guy will charge at you and down the empty elevator but if he doesn't just soulflay him down there
This spot you can even do it easier. Just stand with the lamp on the umbral way a knucklehead will attack you and both you and him falls. Then you revive with his vigot on the platform.
The bellrom vestige/vestige of blind agatha is much better farm spot. When you load, there is the same spike head enemy but he gives you his back. Simply run past him up untill the edge and dodge right or left. He will run after you and fall from the edge. And there is an enemy out side who also has his back to to you. Kick him. And when you go back to the hallway where to vistage is. Us your lamp and suck two blue flame things from the wall. Rest and repeat. Much easer, faster and more profetable.
Are you sure I feel like the time it takes for you to climb the ladder and to walk over the bringer area use your soul tear and then jump down it might take longer by a good chunk the other method you ran past him and he throws him self off and u run back maybe 15 secounds in total
Truthfully it depends on what you have to farm with if you run ahead and grab the enhanced bloody axe then the vestige bucket head is way faster. That's what I've been doing. I pop the spirit throw a few axes and suck the souls to me with my lantern all from within range to just hit x and rest
After some testing I can get close. If you pull off its shield and then take a few steps back and to the left, it just stands there and you can range it to death. It will depend on how fast you can kill it but I do 117 damage per hit with the starter pyro spell. That comes out to about 60k/hour for me. Still short of the 70k but not bad
WAY BETTER WAY, IS TO JUST HAVE HIM RUN AT YOU ON THE "LAMP BRIDGE", BOTH DROP TO DEATH, YOU POP UP IN THE UNDERWORLD, GRAB THE, "SOULS", RINSE, AND REPEAT!
Vestige of Blind Agatha has another bucket head that literally charges you as you run by. Turn at the last second before the ledge and he’ll run right off the ledge. Another easy farm. Plus you can farm Plucked Eyeballs here too!
@RageGamingVideos I found a better one during my 1st playthrough. Go up to the Vestige of Blind Agatha in the Bell Room. Rest, sprint past the Shielded Ardent Penitent, and then do one of two methods: Easy: Run off the edge and die. the Ardent will follow and die as well. You will enter the Umber and his Vigor will appear before you. Your shockwave from entering the Umber may knock off the nearby Pilgrim, granting additional Vigor. Hard: Run up to the edge of the platform to the right of the Pilgrim. Enter any long attack animation on the Pilgrim outside (Right trigger sprint attack with any longsword worked for me). The animation locks your character onto the platform and the ardent will also be locked into it's charge attack, sending the Ardent over the edge while simultaneously preventing you from falling off, even if you are hit. Run back to the Vestige, rest, repeat. Same Enemy, quicker farming techniques, no skill required, no seeds required.
another great thing is that the Ardent's Vigor appears in the hallway back to the Vestige as you run back, because that is where its running attack animation began, so you don't have you wait for it to appear again
The attack angle matters. Run straight to the platform edge roughly 3-4 feet right of the pilgrim, and immediately swing left. If done correctly, both enemies will fall and grant 575 Vigor every 10-15 seconds (I averaged 13.39 seconds out of 10 loops) Roughly 200,000 Vigor per hour once you get good.
Yep me to. Much quicker and easier than the method in this video. Just run past him towards the edge of the platform outside the cave, turn at the last second, and he usually runs straight off the ledge. Quick and easy.
Bro just go to the bellroom vestige. You literally spawn right behind one of these dudes with a parasite on them but they are close to 2 wall blisters so just taking off the parasite gets you like 200 souls from blisters then you kill this dude for like 600-700... Legit RIGHT next to the spawn too, no latter or seed needed
Good spot. But i made it even easier. At the top of the ladder, go umbral realm then stay on the bridge and fight the 3 umbral guys in the pods. The helmet dude stays on the other side. At this point just get approach him and soul flay him on the bridge and he falls down through the bridge. And the souls are waiting for you on the other side. 😂
My bucket head farm is near the vestige of blind Agatha. You will be right behind a BH with a parasite in the umbral realm so kill that with the lamp then kill the enemy. Rest at the vestige and repeat
You don’t even have to kill the parasite. You can run past him towards the edge of the platform outside the cave. He chases you and if you turn to the side he runs straight off the platform. No fighting required.
The Archor Between Realms is better, has the same bucket guy super close and you don’t have to jump or climb a ladder trust me is way faster and easier and more early.
I think most of the challenge comes the massive amount of jank present in everything this game offers. That and many bosses are either very easy or have staright up bs attacks lol.
Honestly some of the bosses feel more annoying then anything else like the guardian to the frost village it's bs he has armor from the umbral, has 3 dogs that inflict wither along with the bosses attacks, can do shockwaves from long range and in the umbral theres a giant stone face enemy that deals heavy damage and can use long range attacks. Just one of these would have made the boss difficult but all of them at once just makes it unreasonably unfair IMO Another boss was the hushed saint bastard teleports every 5 seconds and rides on the horse for so long while having invincibility that it's more of a test to not die of boredom before thinking of shit he threw the spear.

I actually didn't have an issue with the bow woman the dogs were simple to deal with and her attacks were pretty easy to block or roll though, I use using twin inferno axe so it was probably easier because of that I just buff my weapons using dust or a spell and both her and the dogs went down pretty quickly especially if you proc poison or burn status.
Umm.... you can just farm in the umbral itself, it will keep spitting out enemies without end, and once you stay long enough you start giving more and more vigor for your trouble, up to a maximum of 3X normal vigor gain.
