    Soccer Drills
The type of soccer drills you select are important but what's even more important is HOW you do the drills. Here are a few tips to help you get more out of the soccer drills in this video:
    1) Start slow but add the speed.
    2) Technique first, intensity second.
    3) Train to get better, not tired.
    4) Use both feet.
    5) Allow mistakes (just don't make the same ones).
    Soccer Drills For Kids
The drills in this video are for kids of all ages. It includes exercises and ideas players, coaches, and parents can use. This training video is appropriate for anyone searching for:
    - soccer drills for kids u12
    - Soccer drills for kids u10
    - soccer drills for kids u8
    - soccer drills for kids u6
Beginners can use these drills. However, you don't necessarily need advanced soccer drills if you're an experienced player. You need to do the fundamentals with more speed and quality.
The best soccer Drills for u6 players can be the exact same as the best soccer drills for u12 players. However, all of the drills in this video that can be modified to suit players of different ages.
    Modify these variables:
    1. Speed of movement.
    2. Duration of drill (total time).
    3. Distance covered.
    So...
Whether you're specifically searching for soccer drills for u8 players or soccer drills for u10 players is irrelevant. It's how the drill is performed. Professional players can still use these skills to improve if they take the soccer drills seriously and challenge themselves.
Remember, as a player you have to be your own best coach. However if you're a coach or parent searching for:
    - u12 soccer drills
    - u10 soccer drills
    - u8 soccer drills
    - or u6 soccer drills
    Remember these key coaching points:
    1. Don't over coach - give too much information.
    2. Let the kids make mistakes and figure it out themselves.
    3. Praise good work and progression.
    4. Encourage bounce back from mistakes.
    5. Keep a positive environment where players are comfortable.

I practice 2-3 hours per day, 1 and a half hours for dribbling and skills, and the other 1 hour and a half is shooting. I do Speed and agility later in the day. I get around 7500-10000 touches on the ball per day.

I am currently in the same boat. Sign up for an assistant coach to help so that my girls can be with a good head coach. Then the coach had an commitment for one session, leaving me as the head coach. I have never played soccer and barely passed PE class in school. 😰 so doing some last minute study before the big “exam“ in 2 days

Hey man I need some advice as I really want to improve my football ability during the lockdown I just need solid advice on a position I need to pursue in the longer term Im currently 5 foot 11 (legit not actually 5 foot 9) and im prolly gonna grow to about 6 foot 2 I'm currently have a physique like Matt Sheldon but a little skinnier. I'd say im being honest im a decent tackler,im aggressive in tackling,i have a good timing and long legs but i sometimes lose my head a bit like dejan louvren but im also pretty good at shooting , id say ive got a little attacking talent, like i learn skills pretty easily and im decent at killing the ball and im pretty fast and my physical potential is similar to ronaldos i also have a little arrogance (wouldn't call it a arrogange i like being the star and i love scoring goals id say id be decent at both but dont know wether to play in a ronaldo type position or centre back since you are someone I have the upmost respect for i would like ur opionion
Thanks so much if you took the time out of ur day and reading this any advice is extemly appriciated (sorry for spelling typed quickly)

How would you approach having half the team again for another season and the other half is fairly brand new to soccer.i don't want my veteran kids to have to slow down their play style cause their comfortable now?

    • @ProgressiveSoccer
      @ProgressiveSoccer  Год назад

Challenge the new kids to come up to speed. If you slow down, everyone comes down. The new kids might struggle in the beginning but they will be happy you challenged them to come up to a higher level. in the long run.

Hi in your video 3 dribbling secrets you said attack space instead of defenders. But I’m a winger and my coach tell me to take defenders on and attack them?

    • @ProgressiveSoccer
      @ProgressiveSoccer  4 года назад +7

What is the purpose of taking them on? To get into the space behind them... so the objective is to find the space. Soemtimes you have to beat a defender to do that, sometimes you cjust have to beat him to the space.
