It's interesting how the Jedi break most of their fundamental beliefs throughout the war without reflecting on what they were doing. Peace through war? Knowledge without understanding? Serenity through blind obedience? Harmony through subjugation? The true Jedi were dead before Order 66. Keep up the good work, Allen!
Now in the Jedi's defense most Jedi only ever came into contact with Droids and evil Separatist leaders like Grevious and Ventress, people and machines that would brutally kill their troops and even use civilians as living shields because they knew that most Jedi and Clones were too good and noble to hurt innocents, so of course, they view the Separatists as evil and must be destroyed to keep the galaxy safe. Heck, Ashoka herself didn't think too good of the Separatists, until she met Mina and Lux, because she had seen the evils of the Separatists first hand, the innocents who suffered on Ryloth, seeing her friends in the Clones died at their merciless hands, and coming face to face with the ruthless Grevious and Ventress multiple times.

What if Palpatine was killed in one of the attempts to assassinate him. The man made himself a major political target and it was rumored that the CIS had HK-47. What if they activated him and he kill the supreme chancellor.
That's the thing. The Republic started the war on the offensive. And even worse the Separatists had caught a Republic agent committing espionage then caught another Republic agent and a Republic senator trying to break the first out of jail And the Republics response to several of their representatives being caught committing criminal acts in CIS territory was to launch an all out attack with a secret army to rescue them with no attempt to negotiate their release peacefully and even more CIS civilians probably felt the war was justified on their part. Combine that with the fact that preparing a clone army takes time and I'm sure even more CIS civilians came to believe that the Republic had been planning its invasion for some time.

It's shame we never get to see the view of the true believers of the Separatist movement in Star Wars because many believed that the were fighting for freedom and independence from what they saw as a corrupt system
Let’s not forget that the reason the Republic army was sent to Geonosis was to originally track down a identified assassin, then to arrest those involved with an illegal execution. That means that the Republic was justified to attack at the time.
Don't you think that it is a strange move to send 100.000 men to do so? The people who should be executed also had commited acts which some people may seen as espionage and sabotage. i mean they had hardly followed the normal way how investigations work... Was there much of negotiation and so on? Or did the Republic try to crush the smallest sign of dissent with maximal force?
That depends on whether geonosis was an independent state at the time. If it was, as they claim, that execution was probably legal. Obi-Wan was undeniably committing espionage on confederate Leaders, and the punishment for that under Geonosian law appears to be death via Barahunde. Anakin and Padme are caught doing the same thing, while killing several geonosian security guards. We’re primed to take Obi-Wan’s side in this, since he’s the good guy, but crimes are still crimes, no matter who’s committing them.
The Jedi council, was sent to track an assassin and stop an illegal execution. There was perhaps 10 criminals that needed arresting, somehow that escalated into conquering the entire planet. Also from the geonosis perspective, the Jedi were using the excuse of tracking a bounty hunter to spy and commit espionage on their planet and cause political intrigue. So they tried to execute the spies.
Look I’m fine with calling some people on the separatist council (like Mina Bonteri) “good guys” because they just wanted to be independent from the republic (not destroy it) but they had no real power over people like Count Dooku and as we saw in Clone Wars he could just carry out a false flag attack to escalate the war, there was zero hope for this camp.. Sure the republic had its war profiting corrupt politicians but it was nothing compared to the Trade Federation and they're war crimes! In one episode you hear separatist senators say that the CIS isn’t run by corporations!?? What a joke they're army is literally created by the fucking Trade Federation! So yes some of the CIS senators just wanted peace and to be independent from the republic but the truth is that they didn’t have any real power! It’s like saying the Chinese’s communist party is good just because some people in it disagree with all the fucked up shit they do!
The Republic had no army. So it was kinda dumb of the CIS to raise a giant rebel army. If they didn’t like tax without representation, just stop paying. Republic had no army to make them
If they go toward something beneficial and productive that has a positive impact on the whole. But NOT if they are lining the pockets of corrupt oligarchs or going toward a system that doesn’t support or benefit me.

Earth vs Star Wars battles:
Jabba the Hutt's crime syndicate vs Saddam Hussein
Saw Guerra vs Osama bin Laden
The Rebels vs The Vietcong
Dr Count D Peterson
"Do we look at Russia today as a reliable source of information?" Only if you are the head of the US government at this time apparently.

You predicted Russia’s invasion bro
Which faction would Rand Paul be a part of?
He would probably be neutral and chill out with the Mandalorians
The Republic had no army. So it was kinda dumb of the CIS to raise a giant rebel army. If they didn’t like tax without representation, just stop paying. Republic had no army to make them
Why does the separatist senate look like the british Parliament?
Probably a deliberate homage. Showing that the civilian leaders were good guys by associating them with the US’s modern allies.
This video made me join the separatist
Hi I’m a separatist recruiter, here to ask you one simple question. Do you like taxes?
If they go toward something beneficial and productive that has a positive impact on the whole. But NOT if they are lining the pockets of corrupt oligarchs or going toward a system that doesn’t support or benefit me.
Count doodoo?? Lol
Imagenery peoples dont feel anything.
weird flex, but okay
Can't wait for disney to milk this idea
